Bolton Wanderers have been handed a home clash against fellow League One side Barnsley in the first round proper of the FA Cup.
The draw for the world's oldest domestic club cup competition's opening phase when EFL sides join the fray was announced on Monday evening. The Whites have been drawn against the Tykes, whom they played in League One over the weekend and drew 0-0 with.
Winning clubs in the first round proper will pick up a cool £41,000 from the competition's prize fund as well as a place in the second round proper. The games in the round will take place over the first weekend in November.

Wanderers will be aiming to improve on their progress in the competition under Ian Evatt. The Whites have been dumped out at the first round in the last two seasons, against Crewe Alex and then after a replay versus Stockport County last season.
