Bolton Wanderers striker Dion Charles believes he compliments Wigan Athletic's Josh Magennis well upfront for Northern Ireland as he targets another win with his country.
Charles made his first start for his country on Saturday night in the 2-1 win over Kosovo. The Wanderers striker thought he had his first international goal in the Uefa Nations League clash, only to see it ruled out for offside.
Former Wanderers forward and current Wigan striker Magennis' 93rd-minute header earned Northern Ireland a first-ever victory in the Nations League at the 15th attempt. The winner arrived 10 minutes after substitute Gavin Whyte had cancelled out Vedat Muriqi’s 58th-minute goal which had stunned Windsor Park into silence.

Greece are the opponents for Northern Ireland tomorrow as they aim to avoid relegation from Group C2. Charles was pleased with the victory and how he and Magennis combined in the win, as attentions now turn to facing the Greeks.
Charles said: "It's my first senior international start, I had my little one and missus over watching and we got the win, so that's the main thing. It was brilliant.
"Me and Josh compliment each other really well. Josh is a big physical striker and I work off someone like that. We were a handful all game for them and caused them problems.
"We just kept going and showed what we're about as a whole squad, even the boys that came off the bench contributed and got us the goals so it's a team game and the main thing is we won.
"This game is done now. We'll look forward to Tuesday and hopefully get something out of that."
