Bolton Wanderers will assess defender Declan John after he picked up an Achilles problem prior to the 2-0 loss to Plymouth Argyle.
Wanderers had started the first half well and went close to going ahead through Kieran Lee in the opening 30 minutes, but his effort was deflected wide. Conor Bradley also saw a low effort go wide of goal.
But Wanderers were meant to pay for defensive frailties when Niall Ennis got the better of skipper Ricardo Santos to slot past James Trafford. It was a sucker punch for the visitors.
The Whites should have equalised after the break when Amadou Bakayoko's effort was saved and pushed onto the post by Pilgrims goalkeeper Michael Cooper. But Ryan Hardie fired home a late second to ensure the hosts would claim the three points.
John pulled up in the warm-up at Home Park. He was later spotted watching the second half in his club tracksuit rather than kit as it became clear he would not play a part in the encounter.
Evatt revealed after the defender suffered a mild Achilles injury and will be assessed to learn its extent. A scan on Jon Dadi Bodvarsson's hamstring problem has revealed he will be out of action for a fortnight.
Evatt told the Manchester Evening News : “He’s (John) got a slight Achilles injury in the warm-up, we don’t know what it is yet until we get it looked at.
“Jon will be two weeks (away). We’re missing him, we’ve not had a clear run with a lot of them. Dion (Charles) has picked up injuries, Jon’s picked up injuries, so we’ll try and get them in one piece as soon as possible.”
