Celtic defender Boli Bolingoli has joined FC Ufa on loan.
The left-back will move to the Russian Premier League side until the end of the season after being deemed surplus to requirements at Parkhead.
The 26-year-old barely featured under Ange Postecoglou, with his last appearance coming away at Motherwell in October.
Having fallen behind Greg Taylor, Josip Juranovic and Liam Scales in the pecking order, it was expected he would leave during the January transfer window but he remained in Glasgow beyond the deadline.
However, with the Russian transfer window open until midnight on Tuesday, Bolingoli has beat the clock to seal a move.
The Belgian, signed from Rapid Vienna in 2019, found himself on the fringes at Parkhead after an infamous Covid-19 protocol breach last season.
Celtic had matches postponed after it emerged that Bolingoli had, unknown to the club, travelled to Spain then made an appearance at Kilmarnock just a few days later when he was required to quarantine.
He's made a total of 30 appearances for the Glasgow giants.
