The body of an elderly man who went missing last month has been found in the Murray River.
A search for 94-year-old Joseph McCrann began near Mildura in June after his motorised scooter was discovered next to a walking track near the Mildura riverfront.
He was last seen on June 20.
Mr McCrann's body was found today in the Murray River close to Apex Park, a popular inland beach and recreation area downstream of Mildura.
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
In a statement, Inspector Michelle Young described Mr McCrann as "well known in the local community" and said the discovery would bring his family closure.
"Although it's heartbreaking for family and friends when one dies, I know that it will bring comfort to Mr McCrann's loved ones and our community knowing that he has been located," she said.
"I'd also like to thank our local police members from Victoria and New South Wales in recovering Mr McCrann and our community who I know have also been looking for Mr McCrann to enable him to rest in piece.
"Victoria police extends condolences to Mr McCrann's loved ones."
A search and rescue operation, involving rescue divers, was undertaken in Mildura after Mr McCrann was reported missing.
