THE body of a man reported missing from Edinburgh has been discovered in Carlisle.
Wiktor Ulewicz was last seen in the Queen Street area of the city on Thursday September 21.
On Wednesday September 27, his body was found in Carlisle in Cumbria.
He has since been formally identified as Mr Ulewicz and his family have been made aware.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "On September 27 2023, a man’s body was found in Carlisle, Cumbria.
“The man has been identified as Wiktor Ulewicz who was last seen in the Queen Street area of Edinburgh on Thursday September 21 2023.
“His family has been notified. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
