The body of a man who had been reported as missing in a Scots loch has been pulled from the water.
The alarm was raised at Lochindorb in Grantown-on-Spey, Highlands, at around 12.55am on Thursday, August 18. Police attended and a body was tragically pulled from the loch.
His family have been informed. Police say their enquiries into establishing the full circumstances of the incident are ongoing, but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.55am on Thursday, August 18, police received a report of a man missing in the water at Lochindorb, Grantown-on-Spey.
“Emergency services responded and the man was pulled from the water. He was pronounced dead at the scene and his family has been notified.
“Enquiries are ongoing, however, the death is not being treated as suspicious.”
