A body has been discovered near a river in Port Talbot, police report.
South Wales Police say they are investigating after the body of a 38-year-old man was found at Velindre Falls, Port Talbot. The discovery was made at around 2:15pm on Sunday, February 20.
Velindre Falls and Velindre bridge form part of a popular walking route alongside the River Afan near Port Talbot. The death is not being treated as suspicious.
South Wales Police said both the next of kin and a HM Coroner has been informed.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Officers are investigating after the body of a 38-year-old man was found at Velindre Falls, Port Talbot at around 2.51pm yesterday, February 20th. The death is not being treated as suspicious, next of kin have been informed and a HM Coroner has been informed."
