The body of a man has been recovered at a loch in Bearsden sparking a police response.
Police were called to a report of a concern for a person in the local area around 9.55am on Thursday morning and were carrying out enquiries when the discovery was made.
The body of the 59-year-old was found at Kilmardinny Loch.

Police officers and fire engines were reported to be on the scene following the discovery. There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a concern for a person in the Bearsden area around 9.55am on Thursday, 3 November.
“Enquiries were carried out and the body of a 59-year-old man was found at Kilmardinny Loch.
“There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
