A body has been found during the search for missing man David Evans. While formal identification has not yet taken place, Mr Evans', known local as Russell, family has been informed.
A statement from South Wales Police said a body of a man was discovered near the River Taff in Taff's Well on Monday afternoon. The statement said: "Detective Inspector Dan Michel said: “A body of a man was found near the River Taff in Taff’s Well at around 3.20pm on Monday.
“Although formal identification has not yet taken place, the family of missing man David Evans, known locally as Russell, has been informed. Enquiries will continue on behalf HM Coroner.
“Thank you to those who shared our missing person appeals. Our thoughts are with David’s family and friends.”
