Body found in search for missing man

A body has been found following a search for a man who went missing from Haverfordwest. Dyfed-Powys Police had appealed for information to find a 56-year-old missing man named Huw, who had last been seen at around 4pm on Friday, June 2.

He had been driving a silver Toyota Yaris which was found earlier on Saturday, when Dyfed-Powys Police appealed for help to find him.

Police have since shared an update confirming a body has been found. The force said it was no longer appealing for information and was supporting Huw's family.

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson said: "Thank you for sharing our appeal earlier to find Huw, missing from Haverfordwest.

"Sadly, a body has been found during the search, and therefore we are no longer appealing for information. Officers are supporting Huw’s family and our thoughts are with them all."
