The body of a man has been found in the search for pensioner James Clark who was last seen at Orchard House care home in Carluke.
Police made the discovery around 12.45pm this afternoon Monday, April 3 near the Crossford area in Lanarkshire.
Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of James Clark, 86, who was reported missing from Crossford on Saturday, 1 April, has been made aware.
James Clark disappeared after leaving his care home on Saturday and had not been seen since.
There are no apparent suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
