Police confirmed this afternoon that a body had been discovered in the search for the 26-year-old at Irvine beach park this morning.
His family have been informed of the tragic find but formal identification has yet to take place.

On Sunday, around 100 volunteers searched The crumbling remains of the ICI Nobel bomb factory buildings in Ardeer, Stevenston.
Searches have been co-ordinated from a Facebook page Corry's family have set up called 'Missing Person Corry Ferguson'.

"We can confirm that the search for Corry is cancelled, we can’t disclose any information as of yet purely because we don’t know anything ourselves.
