Police have discovered a body in Loch Ness during their search for a missing Chinese student from England.
Bilin Chen was last seen by her flatmates in Bath on Thursday, May 26, before travelling north to the Highlands.
Concerns were raised for the 26-year-old after she failed to make contact with Avon and Somerset Police issuing an appeal for help to find her.
Officers from Police Scotland joined the search after the Chinese national was believed to have travelled to the Inverness area.
She was last spotted on the Great Glen Way between Drumnadrochit and Urquhart Castle at around 8pm on Friday.
But the force has now announced that a body has been found in water near the A831 at Drumnadrochit.
The grim discovery was made at around 1.45pm on Wednesday, June 1. Cops do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances.
Formal identification is yet to take place but officers have been in touch with Bilin's family.
