A body has been found inside the burnt-out shell of a car in Coogee, south of Perth, police say.
Police media said "at least one person" had been located dead inside the vehicle.
Fire and emergency services were called to the John Graham Reserve just after 12pm on Monday where they found the vehicle in a car park.
Major crime squad detectives are investigating the circumstances of the blaze.
Anyone in the area on Monday morning or who may have information is asked to contact police.
