A BODY has been found amid a search for a 20-year-old woman missing in Aberdeen.
Police issued an appeal for information in the search for Zoe Garden in the small hours of Wednesday morning.
She had last been seen by a friend at around 9.40pm on Tuesday, August 25, in the Kincorth area of Aberdeen.
At around 5.35am, police were called to a report of concern for a person in the area of Riverside Drive in the city.
After emergency services attended, a woman was taken to hospital where she died a short time later.
Formal identification has not yet taken place, police said, but the family of the 20-year-old have been informed.
Police said the death is being treated as unexplained but is not believed to be suspicious and enquiries are ongoing.
A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course, it is understood.
