The bodies of a man and woman in their 80s have been recovered from a property in Nottinghamshire. Police say they were called to Vine Way in Newark earlier this month after concerns were raised for the welfare of the occupants.
The deaths are not being treated as suspicious and the force has passed on their thoughts to their families. A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "Police were called to an address in Vine Way, Newark, shortly before 6pm on Tuesday, June 14, after concerns were raised for the welfare of the occupants.
"Inside they recovered the bodies of a man and a woman, both aged in their eighties. Their deaths are not being treated as suspicious and a file has been passed to the coroner."
