Bobby Brazier has been warned that he could be at risk due to a new Strictly Come Dancing curse.
The EastEnders actor, 20, is a fan-favourite and has been fairly consistent on the BBC dance competition.
Last week, he and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, 34, officially reached the half-way mark of the competition after impressing with an Argentinian Tango to Sail by Awolnation, which landed them a score of 30.
However, as the show heads to Blackpool this week, they are set to dance an American Smooth, which consists of four dances: the Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and Viennese Waltz, which, statistically, could prove Brazier's undoing.
Explaining why on Monday’s edition of It Takes Two, presenter OJ Borg referred to some data he had collected.
Borg described the dance style as "the dance of doom".
He then revealed that four out of the six couples that have danced it so far were subsequently eliminated the following week.
"I played that music because it’s the dance of doom and I don’t mean me in a nightclub at 3am, I mean the fact that if we look at this here – Jodie and Jowita, Eddie and Karen, Zara and Graziano and Adam and Luba, the week after they have done the American Smooth, they have been eliminated," he shared.
However, there is some hope as both Angela Scanlon and Carlos Gu and Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola have managed to avoid the curse.
