In a recent interview on his eponymous CLNS Media “Bob Ryan, Jeff Goodman, and Gary Tanguay” podcast, Celtics beat writer emeritus Bob Ryan defended Jaylen Brown‘s impact on the Boston Celtics. While some question if the Georgia native is living up to his historic supermax contract extension, Ryan argues that Brown’s numbers speak for themselves.
With an average of 21.9 points, 5 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game so far this season, Brown has been a key contributor to the ball club’s success. Ryan admits that the Cal alum may not (yet) be the highest-paid player on the team or in the league, but he believes Brown deserves credit for his performance even so.
Tune in to hear Ryan’s insights on Brown’s play and his stance on defending one of the Celtics’ young superstars.
