Bob Geldof says he's 'blue in the face' hearing Freddie Mercury's Live Aid performance with Queen

Sir Bob Geldof has poked fun at Live Aid’s enduring legacy, admitting he no longer gets emotional about the famous 1985 charity concert - and is, in fact, “blue in the face listening to f**king Freddie Mercury.”

The Boomtown Rats frontman, 73, shared the quip during a Q&A at Wembley Stadium, held to mark the upcoming West End launch of Just For One Day - The Live Aid Musical.
