Legendary singer and songwriter Bob Dylan has announced a first UK tour in five years and it includes a date in Nottingham.
The ‘Rough And Rowdy Ways Worldwide Tour’ began last December in Milwaukee, USA and will now travel to the UK for nine 'intimate' shows in London followed by visits to Cardiff and Hull.
Nottingham's Motorpoint Arena will host the singer on October 28 this year and tickets are expected to be in high demand for the single East Midlands show on the tour. Tickets for the Nottingham performance will go on sale on Friday 15 July on Ticketmaster here.
The legendary singer's forthcoming shows are billed as “non-phone events”, and audience members will be required to put their mobile devices into a Yondr bag, which they can keep with them until after the performance. Fans will be able to buy up to six tickets when the general sale begins on Friday.
Dylan is one of the biggest singer-songwriters in the world and over his 60-year career has released a huge number of hits. Best known for songs such as The Times They Are A-Changin and Blowin' In The Wind, he has performed in the UK since the 1960s. However, his last tour of the country was in 2017 and this is a first chance for fans to see the singer for five years.
