A boat in a Beeston canal has sunk after it filled with water. It comes after a spell of cold and wet weather seen across Nottinghamshire over the past few weeks.
The small boat is moored on the canal near Beeston Lock. It has filled with water and now appears half submerged in the canal. Before the cold snap, Nottingham faced heavy rain.
Now, snow and ice has been forecast to hit parts of the region this weekend. The warning for snow and ice is in place on Sunday, December 18 between 3am and 9pm.

The Met Office has said a period of snow will lead to some disruption to travel and other activities, before turning to rain later. The snow and ice warning includes areas just north of Hucknall, such as Mansfield, whilst an ice warning is in place for all of Nottinghamshire.
The cold weather is set to continue into the festive period. The BBC weather forecast for Nottingham is predicting snow to drop at around 7am on Christmas Day - right around the time many people across the county will be unwrapping their presents.
Light snow could continue on until around 12noon, accompanied by temperatures as low as 1C. Other than Sunday, December 18, it is the only day in the next 10 in which snow is forecast to fall across the county.
