BMW is recalling hundreds of thousands of cars across the world after a potentially dangerous defect raised safety concerns.
German car trade outlet kfz-betrieb reported that 575,000 cars worldwide would be recalled, with the recall applying to almost 25,000 cars in the UK and Ireland.
