- The BMW iX5 will be one of the fastest-charging electric vehicles in the U.S.
- It’s BMW’s third EV with more than 400 miles of range, after the iX3 and i3.
- It will get plenty of Neue Klasse tech, like the Panoramic Vision display and Gen6 battery cells.
BMW revealed the first-ever iX5 on Tuesday, continuing its electric vehicle offensive despite the cooling of plug-in vehicle sales in the U.S. The iX5 is the bigger sibling of the iX3, and it will be one of the longest-range and fastest-charging EVs in America when it goes on sale in the first quarter of 2027.
