The driver of a BMW involved in a three vehicle crash fled the scene before emergency services arrived.
Merseyside Police attended the incident on Oakfield Road, Anfield, at around 11.30pm on Friday, April 21 following reports of a crash. The crash involved a black BMW, a white Vauxhall Vivaro van and a parked white Ford Fiesta.

Images sent to the ECHO showed officers from several police vehicles in attendance. The road was covered in debris following the crash, with the BMW destroyed and the rear and right side of the Vauxhall van severely destroyed.
A ground floor window of a property on Oakfield Road next to where the vehicles were pictured was also broken. It hasn't been confirmed if the broken window is linked to the crash.
Oakfield Road was temporarily closed while the three vehicles were removed from the scene. The road remained closed while officers cleared the debris away.
A Merseyside Police force incident manager confirmed to the ECHO the following morning the road was reopened. Liverpool FC played at nearby Anfield stadium on Saturday against Nottingham Forest.
