The long-awaited third series of cult children's TV show Bluey will launch on August 10, Disney+ has announced.
While households without toddlers may be unaware of the cultural phenomenon that is Bluey, the award-winning Australian animated show was named one of Rolling Stone Magazine's top 100 sitcoms of all time and boasts both a devoted audience base and best-selling merchandise line to rival other streaming hits like Stranger Things - although understandably it's considerably less tense.
Celebrity fans include actress Eva Mendes who admitted binge watching every episode with her daughters during lockdown, rock star Billy Joel who threw a Bluey themed birthday party for his daughter and Hamilton creator and all-round musical theatre legend Lin-Manuel Miranda who lobbied on social media for a cameo role on the show and, if Twitter is anything to go by, might just have got his wish in the batch of episodes to be launched shortly.

The show's somewhat unoriginally named hero is a six-year-old Blue Heeler dog who, along with her younger sister Banjo and parents Bandit and Chilli, manages to turn relatable experiences of everyday family life into a series of funny and occasionally poignant adventures.
CBeebies shows Bluey in the UK, where it ranks with Hey Duggee as one of the channel's most popular shows. But if you want to binge watch the entire back catalogue, Disney+ has the first two series in full, meaning fans have 102 episodes to enjoy even before the next batch of 25 that make up series three launch next month.
While Disney+ doesn't currently offer a free trial for its streaming service, which also boasts Marvel and Star Wars shows alongside more mainstream Star TV staples like Greys Anatomy and Keeping Up With the Kardashians, some Bluey fans keen to save some money can enjoy discount and even free access to hundreds of hours of TV.
Tesco shoppers who have been saving their Clubcard points can trade in £8 of points on the Clubcard website and get a three month Disney+ subscription effectively for free. Once they've chosen the offer, customers will be sent an email which allows them to activate their three month subscription - plenty of time to watch not just for the children to enjoy Bluey and Spidey's Amazing Friends but for grown-ups to enjoy The Book of Boba Fett, Ms Marvel and She-Hulk which is due to launch next month.
Meanwhile customers upgrading or setting up new mobile deals or phone deals with O2 and Samsung can get free or discounted Disney+ as one of a host of perks for the new contracts. Money savers who use either TopCashback or Quidco can also claim back up to £12.50 on an annual Disney+ subscription to save even more - although you will have to pay the money for the subscription up front before you get your cashback.
The streaming service can be viewed on up to four screens at once from a single account, with the option to set up multiple profiles. TV lovers can also download shows and movies to watch on the go.
