Blue singer Lee Ryan was photographed ahead of standing trial at Ealing Magistrates' Court today following an incident on a British Airways flight in July.
Lee was arrested at London City Airport for a public order offence after an incident on a flight from Glasgow on July 31.
Arriving at court on Thursday, he was photographed wearing a charcoal grey suit with an open white shirt, a pair of black shoes and a black belt. He kept his head down as he made his way into the court and was seen looking at his phone.
The Mirror reports a A Met Police spokesman previously said: "At around 1640hrs on Sunday, 31 July, officers met a flight that had arrived at London City Airport from Glasgow.
"A 39-year-old man was arrested for a public order offence. He was taken into custody at an east London police station and was released under investigation the following day."
The singer is set to stand trial after he was charged with assault by beating, behaving in threatening, abusive, insulting or disorderly manner towards a member of aircraft crew and common assault of an emergency worker.
The 39-year-old has previously apologised for his "inappropriate" behaviour on the flight and pleaded guilty to being drunk in an aircraft.
After cabin crew refused to serve him booze, he is said to have launched a foul-mouthed tirade at them.
A statement on Blue’s official Instagram page said: "A Note from Lee.
"Over the last few days, I have had a lot of time to think about my behaviour and how it affects people around me.
"As it has been well documented I have always had my struggled with alcohol and often say or do silly things as a result of that, which in turn has caused upset for myself and those around me.
"For that I want to apologise to everyone I have upset or offended."
Lee rose to fame alongside bandmates Antony Costa, Duncan James and Simon Webbe after Blue formed in 2000. The group's biggest hits include All Rise, Too Close and One Love.
He has also taken part in a number of reality TV shows including Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 and Strictly Come Dancing in 2018. He appeared in Eastenders briefly in the same year.
