A bloodhound picked up the scent of convicted killer and rapist Grant Hardin shortly after his escape from a northern Arkansas lockup. The hound, part of a specialized prison unit, began its hunt immediately, showcasing the critical role these animals play in tracking fugitives.
Despite heavy rain complicating the search, experts believe the bloodhound's keen sense of smell can still detect a fresh trail, even days after Hardin's Sunday escape.
