Bloodborne turns seven years old, and fans are celebrating

You blink an eye, and seven years go by like nothing. At least, that’s how fans feel about Bloodborne’s seventh anniversary.

Yup, it might’ve felt like yesterday, but Bloodborne came out on March 24, 2014, on PS4. Even with Elden Ring being the landmark that it is, many still consider Bloodborne to be FromSoftware’s absolute best work. That sentiment is easy to understand That sentiment is easy to understand for those of us that endured Yharnam’s rain-slicked streets, as Bloodborne exudes immaculate Victorian gothic horror vibes and ridiculously haunting yet awe-inspiring storylines we rarely see in AAA titles. To this day, there’s nothing like it.

The fan fervor over Bloodborne is as palpable as it was seven years ago. Heck, someone even made a bloody brilliant PS1 demake recently.

On this special day, Bloodborne fans share memories, artwork, and hopes for more all over social media. It’s a beautiful reminder that the best video games stay with us forever.
