Blinken pledges US military aid on visit to Kyiv amid fears of 'short notice' Russian invasion

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived Wednesday in Kyiv in a show of support amid fears of a Russian invasion, pledging to provide hundreds of millions in US military aid and calling on Russian President Vladimir Putin to choose a "diplomatic and peaceful path."

As U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken visits Ukraine, the Biden administration said Wednesday it’s providing an additional $200 million in defensive military aid to the country amid soaring fears of a Russian invasion.
