Jenny on Sara
What were you hoping for?
A new adventure with someone fun and like-minded.
First impressions?
Gorgeous and easy to talk to.
What did you talk about?
Travel. Art. Hobbies. The latest Married at First Sight – the next series needs a better-matched lesbian couple.
Most awkward moment?
Trying to take a selfie and both recoiling with cringe.
Good table manners?
Sara passed the ultimate test – getting chewed olive stones into a bowl without giving me the ick.
Best thing about Sara?
I was very impressed by Sara’s intelligence and she was great at holding a conversation.
Would you introduce Sara to your friends?
Definitely. Sara is likable and kind – it’d be hard not to get on with her.
Describe Sara in three words
Bright, interesting and gorgeous.
What do you think Sara made of you?
I think Sara thought I was fun and a little chaotic. She laughed when I said my top two love languages are gift giving and acts of service.
Did you go on somewhere?
To a queer clubhouse then Dalston Superstore, where we danced till 2am.
And ... did you kiss?
Yes! I really appreciated that the date was in a lesbian bar, so I could enjoy kissing Sara without any fear.
If you could change one thing about the evening, what would it be?
I think we should have eaten more!
Marks out of 10?
10.
Would you meet again?
If we lived in the same city, I could see Sara having a big presence in my life, but we both agreed long-distance relationships are rubbish. I’d always be happy to see her if she visits Leeds.
Sara on Jenny
What were you hoping for?
An interesting “so how did you two meet” story – and to not get publicly rejected.
First impressions?
Super-smiley! We launched straight into easy chatting and she’d already ordered the wine – a great sign.
What did you talk about?
The decline of UK nightlife. How long we’d survive on a desert island. The need for more gay girl Blind dates!
Most awkward moment?
When I complained about having to travel from south London and she said she’d come all the way from Leeds.
Good table manners?
Yes (and I’m grateful she didn’t see me devouring a McDonald’s after).
Best thing about Jenny?
She was so fun and up for making the most of our free night out.
Would you introduce Jenny to your friends?
For sure.
Describe Jenny in three words
Loves Robbie Williams.
What do you think Jenny made of you?
Well, she said I was a 10, but that was after a fair few glasses of wine.
Did you go on somewhere?
It would have been rude not to.
And ... did you kiss?
We couldn’t let the bartenders down.
If you could change one thing about the evening, what would it be?
To have gone somewhere with food!
Marks out of 10?
We agreed 9. On reflection there is no reason not to give Jenny a perfect 10.
Would you meet again?
I’d love to see her drag show!
