Bleacher Report says Ravens lost some of the most talent in 2023 free agency

The Baltimore Ravens have had a rather unconventional offseason, with most of the talk about the team surrounding quarterback Lamar Jackson. They haven’t been able to make many moves due to the signal caller’s situation and limited cap space, but have seen a few of their own players leave for their own opportunities.

When listing off the teams who lost the most in 2023 free agency so far, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report added Baltimore to his list as one of his choices. He said that the Ravens made the list almost by default, with their losses such as guard Ben Powers, tight end Josh Oliver, safety Chuck Clark and more making big gaps in their roster.

“The Baltimore Ravens make our list almost by default. For the majority of early free agency, they had added literally nothing. On Friday, Baltimore signed wideout Nelson Agholor to a one-year $3.25 million deal, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter…Presumably, the Ravens will reload in the draft, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Their lack of moves to this point, though, leaves them with a big gap between losses and gains.”
