The Baltimore Ravens have had a relatively quiet offseason up to this point, with not much going on other than the ongoing saga with quarterback Lamar Jackson. The team has made just one outside free agent addition in Nelson Agholor, and has seen more shuffling on their coaching staff than their actual roster.
When naming each NFL team’s smartest move of the 2023 offseason so far, Kristopher Knox of Bleacher Report identified his choice for Baltimore as the hiring of new offensive coordinator Todd Monken. Knox looked at the Ravens’ decision to place the non-exclusive franchise tag on quarterback Lamar Jackson, but decided on Monken due to the potential for the veteran coach to turn things around.
