The Baltimore Ravens could look to majorly revamp their wide receiver room after multiple lackluster years at the position filled by injuries and underwhelming production. They could look to add a veteran at the position, especially after all of the draft capital they’ve invested over the years.
When listing off the best fits for the remaining pool of NFL free agents, Alex Ballentine of Bleacher Report named Baltimore as a fit for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who missed all of the 2022 season after suffering a torn ACL. When explaining why, Ballentine mentioned how third-year wide receiver Rashod Bateman is still relatively unproven, and signing Beckham could help mend any sour relationship with Jackson.
“If Beckham still has aspirations of being a No. 1 receiver, then Baltimore might be his best bet. Rashod Bateman is still relatively unproven, and the organization might need to make some signings to mend the relationship with Lamar Jackson after signing him to the non-exclusive franchise tag. Bringing in OBJ would be a nice start.”
