People riding The Big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach had to walk down the rollercoaster after it came to a sudden stop.
The ride stopped just before 3pm today (April 23) and photos show those on the rollercoaster having to walk down a huge flight of stairs to disembark the ride safely. It is the second time this month that the ride has halted while in progress, reports the M.E.N.
On April 11, staff members had to ask passengers to walk all the way back down to the ground after it stopped on the lift hill during bad weather. The ride was then closed for the remainder of the day.

A spokesperson for Blackpool Pleasure Beach told the M.E.N that the Big One remained shut just before 4pm today, but was unable to provide any details on how long it may be closed for.
The spokesperson told the ECHO: "The Big One rollercoaster stopped today (Sunday 23rd April) just before 3pm, just over halfway up the lift hill.
"There was a minor technical problem and the safety system on the ride worked exactly as it should and immediately stopped the train on the lift as a precaution. Trained staff walked all riders safely down a set of stairs to the ground within 30 minutes."
