Thousands of Black women gathered for a call on Sunday evening to strategize on supporting Vice President Kamala Harris after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race and endorsed her. The call, organized by Win With Black Women, took on a different tone following Biden's announcement.

During the call, Democratic operative Donna Brazile urged participants to sign delegate pledge forms to support Harris. She emphasized the importance of voter registration and fundraising efforts in the upcoming days. Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser also expressed her support for Harris, highlighting the need to defend her against potential attacks.

Other notable speakers on the call included former Congressional Black Caucus Chair Joyce Beatty and Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett. Attendees showed enthusiasm for joining the Harris campaign as volunteers, with many expressing interest in the Zoom chat.
