Black Sea spit becomes ‘a trap’ with 2,500 Russian troops stranded

  • Ukrainian forces have trapped about 2,500 Russian soldiers on the Kinburn Spit in the Black Sea, according to military commanders.
  • Ukrainian drone strikes have targeted Russian logistics, cutting off essential food and ammunition supplies to the stranded troops.

  • Meanwhile, a fresh Russian aerial assault on Ukraine has killed at least 12 people in the Kyiv region.
