Finally, Marvel has given us a further sneak peek into one of its most anticipated films yet. The Black Panther sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, will be landing on our big screens later this year.
The first look at the film was in a short trailer released in July, during the comic book company's spot at Comic Con, and during that it was confirmed that the story of Black Panther will include the death of T'Challa, following the tragic passing of the actor Chadwick Boseman in August 2020.
So when will we be able to see the new film? Who will be in it and what is the plot?

There's no doubt that this trailer is getting fans super excited for the sequel, with the return of their favourite characters and a tribute to a tremendous actor in Boseman. But the particular part that will see fans clambering to the box office is the first-look at the new Black Panther.
The final shot of the trailer shows someone wearing the infamous suit and, we're not sure about you, but it definitely looks like it could be a woman. While there's no shot of whoever the person beneath the mask is, we'd chance our bets that Letitia Wright's Shuri is set to take the mantle from her brother T'Challa, but it's only a matter of time until we find out.
When will Black Panther: Wakanda Forever be released in the UK?
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will be released in the UK on 11 November, 2022.
Who is in the cast of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?
Some familiar faces and fan favourites will return for the sequel, including Letitia Wright. Wright proved popular with fans as T'Challa's sister Shuri in the first instalment of the series.
Lupita Nyong’o and Martin Freeman are among the popular faces also returning to the film. However, Oscar-winner Daniel Kaluuya will not be reprising his role as W'Kabi due to scheduling conflicts.
Marvel bosses also confirmed that they had made the decision not to recast Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in August 2020. They said that with their decision, they hoped to honour Boseman's legacy.
Marvel’s Victoria Alonso said: “There’s only one Chadwick and he’s not with us. Our king, unfortunately, has died in real life, not just in fiction, and we are taking a little time to see how we return to history and what we do to honour this chapter of what has happened to us that was so unexpected, so painful, so terrible, really.”
Here is the full cast lineup for Black Panther 2:

- Danai Gurira: Okoye

- Winston Duke: M’Baku
