Remember the pig?
After almost four years of radio silence, one of the most fascinating, yet disturbing series of the last decade is coming back.
The sixth season of Black Mirror has been announced by Netflix.
And once again, the Emmy award winning show boasts a list of top acting talent.
Here's what we know about the return of the dystopian, sci-fi thriller series.
What's Black Mirror about?
Black Mirror is a British anthology television series created by Charlie Brooker.
As Netflix describes, it's a series that explores "a twisted, high-tech near-future where humanity's greatest innovations and darkest instincts collide".
Past topics include: fake news and disinformation, obsession with celebrities, video games, pornography, immersive augmented reality, cyberbullying and many more.
At a first glance, the show presents somewhat ordinary, familiar situations.
But Black Mirror pushes these situations to their extremes.
It invites the audience to see how technology can be used to manipulate, coerce, enslave or even kill.
Do you need to watch the episodes in order?
No, each episode is independent and can be watched in any order.
When will season 6 air?
Netflix announced the anthology series will return in June in a teaser trailer.
It promises the same level of — maybe more — darkness and disturbance that fans have savoured for over a decade.
The total episode count and premiere date are yet to be revealed.
It's being billed as "the most unpredictable, unclassifiable and unexpected season yet".
“I’ve always felt that Black Mirror should feature stories that are entirely distinct from one another, and keep surprising people – and myself – or else what’s the point?” Brooker told Netflix’s official site Tudum.
“It should be a series that can’t be easily defined, and can keep reinventing itself.”
Brooker says this season will have new elements he's "previously sworn blind the show would never do," he said.
"To stretch the parameters of what ‘a Black Mirror episode’ even is."
Who is in Black Mirror season 6?
Featured in this season's line-up are: Michael Cera, Salma Hayek, Zazie Beetz, Myha’la Herrold, Rob Delaney, Josh Hartnett, Aaron Paul, Kate Mara, Paapa Essiedu, John Hannah, Himesh Patel and Rory Culkin.
Keep in mind, there's still some time before June, so who knows what other surprises the producers could be keeping.
There's also a number of new additions joining the show but, behind the cameras
One of them being Marvel's Cinematic Universe's Ms. Marvel showrunner Bisha K. Ali, who joins the show's executive producers Brooker, Jessica Rhoades and Annabel Jones.
Why is it called 'Black Mirror'?
Brooker wrote a piece for The Guardian in 2011, revealing that 'Black Mirror' is the reflective black screen of your mobile phone or computer when it's not in use.
"Any TV, any LCD, any iPhone, any iPad — something like that — if you just stare at it, it looks like a 'Black Mirror'," Brooker wrote in the article.
"And there's something cold and horrifying about that."
The show, originally started on Channel 4 in 2011 before moving to Netflix in 2016.
It has won multiple awards including eight Emmys.
Previous stars have included Miley Cyrus, Hayley Atwell, Andrew Scott, Bryce Dallas Howard, Letitia Wright, Jon Hamm and Daniel Kaluuya.
