Black Louis Vuitton customer questions being stopped at the door. The staff’s reasoning left them baffled: ‘I’ve never had to give a reason’

A man in Glendale, California, just kicked off an important debate online after claiming he was denied entry to a Louis Vuitton store in his city. The man’s video was shared on X, and in it, he can be seen recording himself and asking a Louis Vuitton employee why he’s being denied entry. He’s told that it’s just standard policy, but the comment section was promptly filled with people claiming racism.

In the video, the man and the employee are seemingly having two different conversations. The man recording can be heard repeatedly saying that this is the first time he’s been asked what he wants to buy before entering the store. Meanwhile, the employee claims that the store is just “full” at the moment and that he would have to wait outside until that changes.
