Alienware AW2725DF OLED Gaming Monitor Deal
One of our favorite OLED gaming monitors, the Alienware AW2725DF picked up 5 stars when we had the chance to review and benchmark this fantastic monitor. This resulted in the monitor also receiving one of our coveted Editor’s Choice awards for being a standout example of a great product.
The Alienware AW2725DF has a 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution (111PPI), a phenomenally fast 360 Hz refresh rate, and a rich QD-OLED panel that enables It to fill 110.10 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut for amazing contrasting blacks and eye-popping colors.
This is a superb gaming monitor pick for the hardcore gamer who wants esports-levels of performance, matched with the latest OLED tech to help bring your games and media to life on your screen.
Currently, you can pick up the Alienware AW2725DF at Dell for $699, a savings of $200 on the usual MSRP price of $899. As for all of these Black Friday deals, we aren’t sure how long they will last or the availability of stock.
When we reviewed the Alienware AW2725DF we were impressed by the speed of the monitor, first with its 360Hz refresh rate and secondly, the 0.03ms response time which delivers perfect motion resolution without needing strobing or overdrive. The picture is stunning, with a larger color gamut than other OLED monitors we’ve reviewed. The AW2725DF doesn't include internal speakers or an analog headphone jack, but these aren’t really deal breakers in the scheme of things.
Dell G2724D Gaming Monitor Deal
Another cracking deal over at Dell has the 27-inch Dell G2724D on sale for $149, in a limited-time deal that will evaporate as soon as more people become aware of this great offer. Going for a substantial $50 less than the $200 MSRP, the Dell G2724D is a great pick for a budget gaming setup or as a second display. It’s hard to find a similar monitor with these specs and also have the added bonus of Dell’s great reputation when it comes to monitors, build quality, and support.
Although only costing $149 the Dell G2724D comes with a fast IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 (QHD) pixel resolution, a pixel-per-inch density of 109PPI, and a delightfully speedy 165Hz refresh rate over DisplayPort, and 144Hz over HDMI. The panel is flat with a 1000:1 contrast ratio, a 1ms gray-to-gray response time, and a 99% sRGB color gamut. The screen measures 27 inches and has a thin bezel on three sides - great for placing close to a second monitor for a multi-screen setup.
Our favorite gaming monitor, Dell S3222DGM, hits all-time low
Dell's S3222DGM is our favorite gaming monitor overall because it provides the best combination of performance, build quality and color quality for the money. This 32-inch display has a 2560 x 1440, curved display with a whopping, 165 Hz refresh rate. And yet, even its regular price of $329, it's a great bargain.
Now, the S3222DGM is down to just $199 at Best Buy, a match for its lowest-ever price. That's $129 off of its regular price and an incredible buy.
As you can see, the S3222DGM delivered an impressive 3,718:1 contrast ratio on our tests. You can think it's VA panel, which delivers much more than the 1000:1 ratio that we see on screens with IPS panels, which are much more common. Higher contrast makes colors pop.
With a 165 Hz panel that works with G-Sync or FreeSync, you'll get smooth, tear-free images in gaming. Yes, you can get higher rates on other monitors, but combine that with the 1800R curve, the popping contrast and the $199 price point and this can't be beaten. Here's a full list of specs for the Dell S3222DGM.

ASRock's Excellent 1440p, 180 Hz IPS Phantom Gaming monitor returns to its all-time low price of just $142
We loved the budget-friendly ASRock PG27QFT2A when we tested it earlier this summer, praising its 27-inch IPS screen for its excellent contrast and HDR, solid build, and vivid color. And we called it an excellent value for $190. But today at Newegg, you can pick one of these Phantom Gaming screens up for just $142.77, the lowest price we've seen to date.
Our monitor expert found the PG27QFT2A's video processing to be excellent, with almost no blur when running games at 180 Hz, with overdrive and the backlight strobe keeping things crisp. Overall, he called the image better than expected for the price, with greater dynamic range than most older UPS screens and HDR content looking great as well. And brightness was also good for this class, at 422 nits.
We tested the monitor's contrast at just under 1,500:1, but after calibration that rose to an even better 1,559.8:1. The only real downside is that using the backlight strobe to banish motion blur lowers the brightness by 30% and the monitor doesn't let you max out the brightness when this feature is enabled.
Still, if you're after a fast gaming display on a tight budget, the PG27QFT2A is one of the best we've tested, and an excellent bargain at $142.77. Just grab this deal soon if you're interested, because Newegg says it will be gone tomorrow.
LG UltraGear 45-inch Curved OLED Gaming Monitor Deal
Part of Best Buy's Black Friday offerings, this deal on a large curved gaming monitor, pairs the latest OLED technology, with an attractive design and great specs. If you take a trip to Best Buy's website, you can find the 45-inch LG UltraGear OLED curved gaming monitor for $ 999, a saving of $700 from the original $1,699 MSRP.
The LG UltraGear 45-inch OLED monitor (model: 45GS96QB-B.AUS) is a curved gaming monitor with a WQHD (3440 x 1440) pixel resolution and a rapid 240Hz refresh rate. The response times for this OLED panel is a mere 0.03ms, with very high contrast ratios of 1,500,000:1 and a screen ratio size of 21:9. This monitor is compatible with both AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync and is also HDR400 certified. This OLED display covers 98.5 percent of the sRGB color gamut.
Housed in a black chassis the LG UltraGear is sleek for a massive 45-inch screen, has thin bezels, an 800R curvature, and a sturdy stand. The monitor includes speakers and has connectivity for both PC and game consoles with the inclusion of 1x DisplayPort and 2x HDMI ports and 1x USB-C port.
This is still an expensive monitor but it's a good drop in price from the original MSRP and although you can certainly pick up larger OLED television screens for a lot less, you won't find the same high refresh rates or PC connectivity.
The must-have esports monitor for hardcore gamers
A super-niche monitor for the hardcore esports gamer who wants every single advantage possible beyond their own skill to help defeat an endless horde of online opponents. The Alienware AW2524HF sports a ridiculous 500Hz refresh rate, with no noticeable input lag.
Dell's Black Friday deals have reduced the price of this once-costly monitor to a more wallet-friendly sum. Head to Dell's Alienware AW2524HF page and pick up this superfast monitor for $449, a $150 reduction from its original $599 MSRP.
We had the chance to review the Alienware AW2524HF and our monitor expert awarded the AW2524HF an Editor's Choice award for its amazing performance and class-leading refresh rate speeds. In our testing, this monitor had the best pixel response and input lag results.
49-inches of glorious OLED, Samsung's Odyssey G9 Black Friday deal
This impressive-looking monitor from Samsung would stand out as a centerpiece of any PC setup. With its wide display that's akin to two normal-sized monitors melded together, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 (G93SC) has the looks and features needed to make this an exceptional display, and the fact it's reduced in price thanks to this Black Friday deal, makes it all the more attractive.
You can find this Black Friday discount on the 49-inch Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 (G93SC) at Amazon for $949. This deal has you saving $640 off the MSRP price of $1,599. It is an expensive monitor, but it is basically two monitors in one, which might help to convince your wallet that it's a great buy.
As I've already mentioned, this 49-inch ultrawide monitor equals two QHD monitors merged into one even larger monitor with a 5120 x 1440 pixel resolution QD-OLED panel. Being an OLED display the Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 has great contrast with inky blacks, smooth motion, and low gray-to-gray response rates of just 0.3ms - a common feature of top-end OLED panels.
Positioned on the rear of the monitor for video connectivity are 1 x HDMI 2.1 port, 1 x DisplayPort 1.4, 1 x micro HDMI 2.1, and a USB Hub.
Dell's award-winning Alienware AW3423DWF OLED gaming monitor back to all-time low price
One of the best OLED gaming monitors you can get your hands on has had a substantial amount knocked off its usual retail price this Black Friday sales extravaganza. Dell is joining in on the sales event with their own Black Friday event and offering discounts across the board on many of their products, but the one we're really interested in today is the delightful Dell Alienware AW3423DWF.
Check out this great deal at Dell where the 34-inch Alienware AW3423DWF is on offer for just $649, today's Black Friday discount knocks $250 off the retail MSRP. The AW3423DWF performs exceptionally out of the box without any calibration, with stunning performance in both SDR and HDR content.
The Alienware AW3423DWF sports a ridiculously fast 0.1 ms gray-to-gray response time and has a fast refresh rate of 165Hz, but, as noted in our review, when gaming on the AW3423DWF it feels as if the refresh rate is substantially higher due to the smoothness of the games when viewed on this QD OLED display and will easily have you thinking it's running much faster.
Grab this 15-inch portable monitor for just $59
Everyone needs a portable monitor or perhaps more than one. With a portable monitor, you can add a second screen to your laptop for when you're on a trip so that you can double your productivity. If the portable monitor has HDMI-in, you can also use it with other devices such as Raspberry Pi boards. You can even attach your phone to many of them.
KYY has a 15.6-inch portable monitor on sale at Amazon for just $59, after you click the $10-off coupon button. This 1080p display has been on sale before for as little as $64, but $59 is a new low as far as we can see.
We haven't benchmarked this display so can't give you objective color and brightness numbers for it, but here you're getting what looks like a really solid screen for less than $60. The monitor weighs just 1.7 pounds and is a mere 0.3 inches thick. It has both USB-C ports and mini HDMI so you can plug it either into a laptop that has USB-C alternate mode out or into another device such as an XBox or a Raspberry Pi via HDMI.
The monitor uses a smart cover to stay propped up and, while that's convenient, it's not quite as stable as what you get on monitors that have built-in kickstands. However, for $59, this is a hard deal to beat.
165 Hz for Less Than $100
If you are serious about gaming, you need a gaming monitor that operates at 120 Hz or higher. But what if you really don't have a lot of money to spend on one? Amazon has a solution right now.
Currently, the Acer Nitro KG241Y Sbiip is on sale for $94, reduced from a regular price of $119. This 23.8-inch, 1920 x 1080 display is a little on the small side, but it delivers 165 Hz, which means you can play games at up to 165 fps without screen tearing.
This deal lets you game on a tight budget, but still get the smooth, responsive experience you need. the KG241Y is not likely to have color and image quality that's anywhere close to parity with the best gaming monitors, but it sure is cheap.
I've used TVs as monitors since 2012, and this $599 48-inch LG OLED would make a great premium productivity, gaming and streaming screen on a budget
I've been using HDTVs as my primary monitor for more than a decade now, and the experience has only improved as OLED has become more affordable and, in recent years, 120 Hz refresh has become an option. Today you can pick up this 48-inch 4K LG B4 OLED TV at Best Buy for just $599.
I know this would make a great TV / monitor, because I'm writing this on a previous-gen 55-inch LG OLED TV that's served me well for more than three years now. While I love my larger screen for watching movies, it's a little too big to be ideal as a monitor, at least for work. My previous TV / monitor was a 48-inch Sony, and that size felt better for productivity because I didn't have to tilt my head back and up as much to see the top of the screen. Also, the 55-inch version of the B4, which is also on sale, still sells for much more, at $999.
After switching to using a TV as a monitor in 2012, I've never considered going back to a smaller screen or a more traditional monitor, both for size and money-saving reasons. And that's especially true now that modern TVs sport higher refresh rates for smoother gaming. The one thing I will say is that if you plan on using a large TV as your main monitor, you should seriously consider a wall mount if that's possible.
That will both free up the extreme amount of desk space that a TV takes up, while also moving the screen further back, away from your eyes, so you can take advantage of the screen real estate without having to strain your neck looking around at your huge "monitor." I've been using this $50 VideoSecu model from Amazon since 2017. It's held up three different displays in two apartments without any issues. And I like that I can pull the TV out from the wall, making it seem a little bigger when I'm away from my desk and on the couch watching a movie or TV show.
Grab Acer's 1440p, 180 Hz IPS gaming monitor for just $139, its lowest-ever price
If you're after a gaming monitor on a tight budget, it's hard to ask for more than what Acer's Nitro VG271U (M3bmiipx 27) is currently offering for just $139 at Newegg. It's a 27-inch, 2560 x 1440 IPS panel with AMD's FreeSync and a refresh rate up to 180 Hz. Its price has been fluctuating wildly between roughly $160 and $260 since June of this year, but it's current Newegg price of $139 is the lowest ever.
Don't expect high brightness or HDR, as this screen is rated to just 250 nits. But otherwise, this is a pretty snazzy screen for under $150. You'll need to bring your own speakers, but it's not like you were going to game (or do anything else, frankly) using monitor speakers anyway, right? Right!?!
This $63 Portable Monitor Has a Kickstand
You need a portable monitor or maybe even more than one. Portable monitors allow you to add a second screen to your laptop when you're on the go and the best of them also will connect to other HDMI-out devices such as game consoles.
The problem with most portable monitors -- even the more expensive ones -- is that they flop over too easily. Most manufacturers treat the stand as an afterthought and give you an "origami" style case that flips out and holds the monitor up. Unfortunately if you sneeze or breathe too hard or brush against it, the monitor falls over and the case takes up a lot of depth on a table.
Now, Arzopa has a 15.6-inch, 1080p portable monitor on sale at Amazon for $63. THe best part? There's a built-in kickstand that allows it to stand up without using a ridiculous cardboard case to prop it.
The Arzopa monitor also connects via either USB-C or HDMI so you can either pair it with a laptop that has USB-C alternate mode out or any HDMI-capable device. This makes it good for use with a Raspberry Pi, for example.
The 34-inch OLED Samsung Odyssey G8 UWQHD curved gaming monitor is just $648
I can't stress enough the difference in quality you get with OLED panels and this offer on the Samsung Odyssey G8 is one you definitely shouldn't overlook. This 34-inch curved gaming display is currently marked down to just $648, it's lowest price to date, over at Amazon. For a monitor this size and in this class, this discount is seriously notable. We loved our experience with the Odyssey G8 when we reviewed it last year and the price was nowhere near this low.
The Samsung Odyssey G8 features a 34-inch OLED panel with a curvature of 1800R. It has a dense UWQHD resolution which measures up to 3440 x 1440px and is backed up with a super low response time of just .03ms and refresh rate that caps out at 175Hz. The brightness gets pretty high, as well, reaching up to 400 Nits. There are a few input options including a mini DisplayPort version 1.2 and mini HDMI version 2.1 port to take advantage of. It has two integrated 5W speakers for audio input, as well.
We tested quite a few metrics for this display and it performed exceedingly well overall, even topping the chart for our graycscale error assessment. Visit the Samsung Odyssey G85SB monitor product page at Amazon for more details and purchase options.
You can pick up this LG UltraGear QHD 27-inch IPS for just $269
This LG UltraGear QHD monitor has dropped to the lowest price we've ever seen. It usually goes for around $299 to $499 but right now it's available for just $269 as part of an early Black Friday sale. This discount applies to the 27GR83Q-B.AUS model which features a 27-inch QHD IPS panel with an AMD FreeSync Premium certification.
The LG 27-inch UltraGear QHD monitor features a 27-inch IPS panel with a QHD resolution that measures in at 2560 x 1440px. The response time can get as low as 1ms while the refresh rate reaches up to 240Hz. It covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and is illuminated by a maximum brightness of 400 Nits. For video input, it has two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort input. There are 3 USB Type-A ports as well as a 3.5mm jack for audio peripherals.
For a monitor in this class with such a dense resolution and IPS panel, this deal is definitely worth a look while it's under $300. As of writing, it's not clear for how long it will be made available at this rate. Visit the LG 27-inch UltraGear QHD monitor product page at Amazon for more details and purchase options.
Monoprice's 49-inch Dark Matter DQHD gaming monitor is 50% off for Black Friday
If you're looking for a massive mega-wide gaming monitor but don't want to shell out $1,000 for something like the Philips Evnia 49M2C8900, we have a treat for you today. Monoprice is currently running a significant discount on its Dark Matter 43305 gaming monitor, bringing the price to $504.99.
The 43305 features a 49-inch curved VA panel (1800R) with a 5120 x 1440 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The VA panel also ensures excellent contrast, with a manufacturer rating of 3,000:1; however, we only measured 2,551:1 (which is still excellent). Maximum brightness also topped 400 nits (407 nits, to be exact).
The 49-inch panel means that the 43305 takes up an immense amount of desk real estate. At four feet wide, you'll not only need a desk wide enough to fit it, but you'll also want to clear off enough space so that you're not obstructing the panel's view. Clearing the display of obstructions is even more of a concern, considering that there is no height adjustment to clear taller objects sitting on your desk. However, you do get -5 to 15 degrees of tilt.
You'll find four video inputs (2x HDMI 2.0 and 2x DisplayPort 1.4), all of which support the panel's maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz (AMD FreeSync is supported). Although you won't find USB ports for peripherals, charging phones, or enabling KVM support, there are two built-in speakers for your audio needs.
At just over $500, the Dark Matter 43305 is a fantastic bargain if you want a lot of real estate for gaming or productivity work but don't want to break the bank.
Stands in the place where you live
If you don't already have at least two monitors on your desktop, what are you waiting for? But if you do have two or more monitors, it helps to have a single, unified stand that stacks them next to each other. The right stand can save space and bring your screens closer together so they function in a more uniform fashion -- like one giant desktop.
Right now, Amazon has the Vivo Dual Monitor Desk mount, which screws onto the back of your desk and holds two, up-to-30-inch displays for just $28. For very little money, you eliminate the footprint that came with your monitors default stands and you get some adjustability as well.
This Samsung 27-Inch Odyssey G3 FHD monitor is only $128 at Amazon
If you're looking for a good deal on a quality monitor without all the bells and whistles, you should take a look at this offer on the Samsung 27-Inch Odyssey G3 monitor. It usually goes for around $229 but it's marked down just $128 as part of an early Black Friday promotion. This FHD screen is AMD FreeSync certified and more than suitable for casual use or even gamers looking for a good monitor on a budget.
This offer is for the LS27DG302ENXZA model which features a 27-inch VA panel with an FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The refresh rate can reach as high as 180Hz while the response time can get as low as 1ms. It has a peak brightness of 250 Nits and covers 95% of the sRGB color gamut. There are multiple input options including an HDMI 2 port, a DisplayPort 1.4 input and a 3.5mm jack for audio peripherals.
Visit the Samsung 27-Inch Odyssey G3 monitor product page at Amazon for more details and purchase options.
LG 34-inch 160Hz ultrawide gaming monitor drops to $250 at Staples
If you’re looking for a value-priced ultrawide gaming monitor as the Black Friday season is upon us, Staples is currently running a hot promotion on the LG 34BP65C-B. The monitor has a retail price of $549.99, but it is currently on sale for just $249.99 (a 54 percent savings).
This 34-inch ultrawide monitor (3440 x 1440) has an 1800R curve —34 inches seems to be the sweet spot for ultrawide monitors, so the 34BP65C-B is in good company. LG uses a VA panel, which should ensure good contrast compared to IPS panels (but not as good as more expensive OLED monitors). LG lists the contrast ratio at 3,000:1, which is typical for this class.
The panel maxes out with a 160 Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync compatibility. There’s an anti-glare coating to minimize reflections, while brightness hits a maximum of 300 nits. On the connectivity front, you’ll find two HDMI 2.0 ports and a DisplayPort 1.4 connection. In addition, LG includes two 7-watt speakers to handle your audio needs.
Staples is offering the $249.99 price online with free next-day shipping. However, if you need to get the monitor faster (and have a store nearby), you can opt for free same-day, one-hour pickup. We should note that LG’s three-year manufacturer warranty will cover your purchase.
This Samsung S3 S33GC 27-Inch IPS monitor is only $89 for Black Friday
I always swear by IPS displays but they can sometimes be pricier than other panels like VA screens. That's why I was super excited to come across this awesome deal on the Samsung S3 S33GC 27-inch IPS monitor. It debuted a few months ago with a price tag of $149 but right now it's only $89 as part of a Shell Shocker deal from Newegg. It's also AMD FreeSync certified for its performance which makes it an excellent option for gamers, as well.
The Samsung S3 S33GC gaming monitor features a 27-inch IPS panel with an FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080px. It has a refrsh rate that caps out at 100Hz along with a response time that gets as low as 4ms. It covers 95% of the sRGB color gamut and is illuminated by a maximum possible brightness of 250 Nits. For video input, it has both an HDMI 1.4 port and a DisplayPort 1.2 port to take advantage of.
Visit the Samsung 27-Inch S3 S33GC product page at Newegg for more details and purchase options.
Arzopa’s 15.6-inch 1080p portable monitor includes an integrated kickstand and now costs just $64
The portable monitor space has become highly competitive in the past few years. What was once a niche market with few credible options for consumers has exploded in popularity with many options. From value-focused 1080p panels to 300+ Hz gaming screens to dual-panel options, the possibilities are endless when it comes to the best portable monitors. The Arzopa A1 is currently on sale for $63.99 (down from $79.99) for folks looking for something skewed more toward the value side.
While we haven’t specifically reviewed the A1, we did review Arzopa’s G1 portable gaming monitor, and were impressed with its overall build and value. The A1 isn’t as ambitious an offering, as it comes with a 15.6-inch IPS panel with a mainstream 60 Hz refresh rate. The IPS panel sports 178-degree viewing angles and has a glossy screen finish. The glossy finish can help make colors seem to “pop” a bit more on the screen, but it also tends to enhance reflections, so keep that in mind before you hop on this deal.
The A1 also has something that we really look for in a portable monitor: an integrated stand. Many portable monitors use an origami case that doubles as a stand, which is often cumbersome. The A1 features a simple one-legged kickstand that pops out from the back of the unit. The kickstand is adjustable up to 80 degrees to find the optimum viewing angle for your needs.
Regarding connectivity, the A1 has you covered with a mini-HDMI port and two USB-C ports. That port arrangement should cover just about any device that can output to a display, including laptops, desktops, smartphones, tablets, and even portable gaming consoles like the Nintendo Switch.
Finally, the A1 makes a perfect travel companion because despite its generous 15.6-inch screen size, it weighs just 1.6 pounds. And with a maximum width of 0.35 inches, it should easily slip into a briefcase, backpack, or laptop bag.
Update your setup with a gas spring dual monitor mount
You may already have your monitors mounted to your desk (or the wall), but a gas spring dual mount like this ErGear Dual Monitor Stand can still elevate your setup. Featuring two arms that hold screens up to 32 inches and 19.8 pounds each, this dual monitor mount clamps to your desk and allows for easy adjustments thanks to the gas springs in each arm. The gas springs make for easy setup and upgrades, and are useful even if you don't plan to move your monitors around on a regular basis.
The ErGear Dual Monitor Stand is currently on sale at Amazon for $47.99, and Prime members can clip a 10% coupon, bringing the price down to just $43.19.
MSI's 27-inch, 180 Hz, 1440p IPS G272QPF E2 is a lot of gaming monitor for just $175
There's the high-end, $1,000-plus OLED monitors that most of us can't afford and there's the bargain basement gaming displays, often with VA panels and minimal features. MSI's G272QPF E2 sits close in price to the latter, at just $174 on sale at Newegg, but it's loaded with impressive specs for its price. The 27-inch IPS panel has a 180 Hz (overclocked) refresh rate, is rated to a decent 300 nits of brightness, and sports a 2560 x 1440 resolution and adaptive sync.
We tested the older (non-E2) model of the G272QPF last year and found it a great value proposition, with good color accuracy out of the box. This newer model has a 10 Hz higher refresh rating (note that's 180 Hz with overdrive), but the rest of the specs seem largely the same. We found its overclock to be stable, its contrast above average for IPS, and the panel to be colorful in both SDR and HDR modes.
You can spend less and get a VA panel with worse viewing angles and less vivid colors, and you could obviously spend a lot more for a higher-resolution OLED or Mini-LED screen with higher resolution and other flashy features. But if you're after a gaming monitor that won't break your budget while also not being a disappointment to use and look at, MSI's G272QPF E2 is one of the better sub-$200 deals we've seen so far this Black Friday season.
Perfect color accuracy and hyper-fast 240Hz refresh rates with MSI's MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 gaming monitor for only $499
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, the Black Friday sales are still in full swing with new deals popping up on some of the best gaming monitors at any moment. Having a look at our favorite online retailers we've spotted this fantastic OLED gaming monitor from MSI hitting near its all-time low price at Amazon and is also available at Newegg for the same price with a price match guarantee.
This Black Friday deal on the 27-inch MSI MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 is available at Amazon for just $499, This is a reduction in price of $200 from the $699 MSRP. This monitor's all-time low price is another $20 cheaper at $479, but this is still a fantastic price for a high-spec gaming monitor that was only released earlier this year.
The 271QPX sports an insanely fast 240Hz refresh rate that will test even the most powerful GPU when trying to squeeze out the maximum number of frames in your favorite games, and has 0.03ms (GTG) gray-to-gray response time which is fairly common for OLED panels. Also, you can experience near-perfect color accuracy with its 99.1% DCI-P3 coverage.
For connectivity to your PC or other media devices, the MSI MAG 271QPX features 1x DisplayPort 1.4a, 2x HDMI 2.1 (WQHD@240Hz), and 1x USB 2.0 Type-C (DP alt) with 15W PD.
Still on an epic sale: Dell's S3222DGM, 32-inch 165 Hz monitor
Our very favorite gaming monitor is Dell's S3222DGM. There are better performers but not for the money and right now, the Dell S3222DGM is just $199 at Best Buy, $130 off its regular price.
This monitor has so much going for it. Amazing contrast of 3,718:1 makes colors pop. An 1800R curved screen is immersive enough to make you feel like you've stuck your head into a gaming dimension while you play. The 165 Hz refresh rate is fast enough to make sure that any game you play at up to 165 fps while play smoothly, without a hint of tearing or ghosting.
It also has a 2560 x 1440 resolution which is sharper than the 1080p screens you typically get for less than $200. And, for most graphics cards, you're not going to want to play at above 2560 x 1440 anyway.
Our favorite monitor the Samsung Odyssey G9 G95C is now only $769
Our favorite overall monitor, the Samsung Odyssey G9 G95C is available right now for a new all-time low price just in time for Black Friday. It's been going for $999 but you can purchase it at Amazon for just $769. The Samsung Odyssey G9 G95C is huge and we gave it a score of 4.5 out of 5 stars when reviewing it for its performance. Our biggest concern was its high price tag but this discount blows that concern out of the water.
The Samsung Odyssey G9 G95C gaming monitor features a 49-inch SVA panel with a curvature of 1000R and resolution of 5120 x 1440px. The refresh rate can get up to 240Hz while the response time can get as low as 1ms. It can get impressively bright, reaching 1000 Nits. There's a USB hub with 3 USB Type-A ports, two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs and an HDMI 2.0 port for video input. You also get a 3.5mm jack for external audio peripherals. The purchase is supported by a 3-year warranty from Samsung as well as Amazon's 30-day return policy.
Head over to the Samsung Odyssey G9 G95C product page at Amazon for more information and options to purchase.
Asus' 27-inch, 170 Hz , 1440p gaming monitor is down to just $149
We've spotted yet another budget gaming monitor deal with this Asus Tuf Gaming VG27AQA1A. It may only be $20 off at $149, but the screen was already pretty cheap considering it goes up to 170 Hz with overclocking, and it sports a 2560 x 1440 VA panel rated to 300 nits. You also get Freesync Premium for tear- and stutter-free gaming and a 1ms response time rating.
As with any budget gaming monitor, you'll need to keep your expectations in check. While HRD-10 is technically supported, the screen doesn't get bright enough to truly deliver on that feature. And while the VA panel is good for contrast (it's rated at 3000:1), you'll want to be sitting directly in front of the screen for the best experience.
The stand at least should help you dial in that precise viewing angle, as it supports height, swivel, and tilt adjustment. That's not something we typically see in gaming monitors in this price range.
Samsung's 34-Inch Odyssey G5 is 52% off for Black Friday
The 34-inch Samsung Odyssey G5 (LC34G55T) may be a bit old, but it's still an impressive curved VA gaming screen, with 165 Hz refresh FreeSync Premium for tear-free gaming, 3,440 x 1,440 resolution. And at $265 at Amazon for Black Friday, this monitor is now 52% off. That looks to be the lowest price ever for this monitor, but we don't have access to pricing data going all the way back to 2020 when this model debuted.
With its 1 ms refresh rate, you won't have to worry about input lag. And the 1000R curve will help make your games more immersive. The screen uses a VA panel, so you can expect deep blacks and high contrast. Viewing angles won't be as good as on an IPS screen or with other panel types. But since this is a gaming monitor with a curved display, that shouldn't be a major concern because you'll usually be sitting directly in front of the screen.
FreeSync Premium support means your gaming should always be smooth and free of screen tearing, even if the game drops below the display's maximum 165 Hz refresh rate. We haven't tested this monitor, so we can't say for sure how well its variable refresh will work with an Nvidia card, but based on the many other monitors we've tested recent years, we wouldn't expect any major issues.
About the only clear downside of this display is its brightness, which is rated to a typical 250 nits. That's fine for gaming, as long as you aren't in a bright, sun-lit room. But don't expect HDR content to pop. HDR10 is technically supported, but there just isn't enough light here to make that kind of content look its best.
Dell's award-winning Alienware AW3423DWF OLED gaming monitor back to all-time low price
There's no doubt that the Dell Aw3423DWF is one of the absolute best OLED gaming monitors you can buy today — we've given it five stars in our testing and earning an Editor's Choice award. Now, you can get access to this level of exceptional performance for an even lower price at Dell, where the 34-inch Alienware AW3423DWF is on a Black Friday sale for just $649. This discount knocks $250 off the retail MSRP.
In our review, we found that the AW3423DWF performs exceptionally out of the box without any calibration, delivering stunning performance with both SDR and HDR content. The panel sports a ridiculously fast 0.1 ms gray-to-gray response time and has a fast refresh rate of 165Hz, but, as noted in our review, when gaming on the AW3423DWF, it feels as if the refresh rate is substantially higher due to the smoothness of the games.
The best portable monitor is still on sale for $179
If you still don't have a portable monitor or the one you have fails to impress, this is a great time to grab the Innocn 15A1F, our favorite portable monitor of all. Normally, $299, this 15.6-inch OLED screen is now just $179.
This monitor has a kickstand, which is ideal for any portable monitor -- though few portable monitors come with one -- because it keeps the display from flopping over. It gets so bright -- at 371 nits -- that it can be viewed outdoors and it reproduces an impressive 139.6 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
That's a lot of color and brightness in a compact package for a very reasonable price. And the kickstand makes it easy to use. This monitor also has both USB-C and HDMI inputs so you can connect it to anything, from a laptop to a Raspberry Pi.
Snag this 27-Inch Curved Asus TUF Gaming AMD FreeSync Premium 165Hz monitor for just $129
We stumbled across a really cool deal on the Asus TUF Gaming VG27VH1B 27-inch curved gaming display. It usually goes for around $179 but right now you can pick it up for just $129. This deal is pretty remarkable given the specs on this screen. You get a 27-inch curved screen with an FHD resolution and high refresh rate that caps out at 165Hz. It's also AMD FreeSync Premium certified.
The Asus TUF Gaming VG27VH1B monitor features a 27-inch curved VA panel with an FHD resolution of 1920 x 1080px. It's LED backlit and has a curvature graded at 1500R. The refresh rate reaches up to 165Hz and is paired with a response time of just 1ms. It covers 120% of the sRGB color gamut and is illuminated by a maximum possible brightness of 250 Nits. This curved gaming display also comes with two integrated 2W speakers but you get a 3.5mm jack along with it to connect external audio peripherals. For video input, it has an HDMI 2.0 port and a VGA port to take advantage of.
We're not sure how long this offer will be made available—it's likely just part of a Black Friday promotion so be sure to head over to Amazon to check it out the Asus TUF Gaming VG27VH1B monitor while it's still in stock.
Alienware AW3225QF 32-inch 4K QD-OLED gaming monitor falls to $899 and comes with a free $100 eGift card
A recipient of our prized Editor’s Choice award is ringing up today at an incredible price. The Alienware AW3225QF ticks all the right boxes for what makes an excellent monitor for today’s gamers.
The AW3225QF features a 32-inch 4K QD-OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate (AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync compatible). As is typical with most 32-inch and larger monitors, this one has a curved panel (1700R) for a more immersive gaming experience.
Dell typically sells the AW3225QF for $1,199.99 but is currently offering it on Black Friday for $899, a $300 savings. However, for Black Friday, Dell is adding a $100 Promo eGift Card for free. You’ll receive the Promo eGift Card in your email inbox after purchasing the AW3225QF, and you can use it on a future purchase at Dell.com.
All we can say is that you won’t be disappointed by the AW3225QF. It earned 5 out of 5 stars in our review and had no real flaws worth mentioning. However, it had plenty of superlatives, like its excellent contrast and vibrant colors. It also had loads of color volume and low input lag for gamers.
“The Alienware AW3225QF is the second fastest OLED in my test database behind the AW2725DF,” we wrote in our review. “Its motion processing is perfect, with no blur or hesitation of any kind. Input lag is on par with a 360 Hz monitor even though it runs at 240 Hz. Though all the OLED screens I’ve tested deliver superb gameplay, the AW3225QF is noticeably better.”
At this price, the AW3225QF is too expensive to be an impulse buy, but if you’ve wanted to take the plunge into the world of OLED gaming monitors, there’s no better time than now to enjoy those fruits with this excellent deal.
You can pick up a 15-inch portable monitor with a kickstand for as little as $50 for Black Friday
Whether you're interested in a portable monitor as a second screen for your laptop, console gaming on the go, or you want a smaller second (or third, or fourth) monitor for your desktop, now is a great time to buy one. We previously covered this model from Arzopa that's $63 and includes a kickstand (a feature you really want because the typical cover stands are a floppy, fiddly pain to use). But if you're aiming to spend even less, this WGK model is now on sale at Amazon for just $49, and it also includes a kickstand!
WGK says this is a matte screen, and while I couldn't find a brightness rating, most of the reviewers on Amazon seem happy with the amount of light the screen puts out. The monitor also has built in speakers, but don't expect them to be good, and definitely disregard the company's claims of surround sound and HDR. At 50 bucks, don't expect this screen to hang with the best portable monitors, but if you're looking for a second screen on the cheap for occasional productivity or gaming on the go, this WGK looks to be a great deal.
Esports gamers rejoice: Lenovo's 280 Hz 1080p monitor is just $129
If you want a screen with lots of Hz that doesn't hurt your wallet, Lenovo has one of the best deals we've seen this Black Friday / Cyber Monday shopping season. The Legion R25f-30, a 24.5-inch, 280 Hz 1080p monitor is discounted 35%, dropping its price down to just $129.99 from Lenovo.
Yes, you have to overclock the screen to reach 280 Hz, which may introduce its own issues, but even at its stock 240 Hz, this is still a speedy screen. It's also rated to a high 3000:1 contrast ratio (thanks to its VA panel) and a decent 350 nits of typical brightness. It includes a DisplayPort cable and port, along with two HDMI 2.1 ports for connecting multiple devices.
If you crave a screen with fast refresh and you don't have a lot to spend one something even faster, this is the best deal we've seen so far this deals season. n

This 180Hz 27-inch QHD gaming monitor is just $170 for a limited time
Earlier this summer, we got a chance to review a new gaming monitor from Titan Army. The P27A2R impressed us with its no-frills approach to providing most of what gamers want out of a monitor for not a lot of money.
We praised its $200 MSRP, which provides a lot of bang for the buck, but now the P27A2R is even cheaper. Best Buy currently has the P27A2R on sale for $169.99, which is a $30 savings off its usual asking price. What you get for your money is a 27-inch IPS panel with a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a 180 Hz refresh rate. Of course, the monitor is compatible with AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync, while Titan Army says that the monitor tops out at 300 nits for maximum brightness (we measured 288 nits).
Despite its value-driven price, the picture quality from the P27A2R was colorful, while contrast was good for an IPS panel. We also commended color accuracy that was dialed in straight from the factory and low input lag.
Of course, when we're talking about a monitor that punches above its weight class but offers a low price tag, there will be some compromises. The build quality is good, but there is some wobble where the monitor attaches to the base. HDR is missing on the monitor, and you won't find USB ports or internal speakers. The lack of USB ports and speakers isn't an issue for me as my PC has plenty of ports, and I roll with my own speaker system (your mileage may vary).
With that said, $169 is an excellent price for the P27A2R, so if you're looking for a well-rounded gaming monitor that doesn't cost a lot, give it a try.

Samsung's Odyssey G50D IPS 27-inch QHD monitor hits an all-time low of $189
Samsung's Odyssey gaming monitors can be wildly expensive and massive in size, but this mid-range, G50D packs a nice collection of specs (IPS, HDR400, 180 Hz, FreeSync, 1440p resolution), while its 27-inch size will fit on most desks. And at its all-time low price of just $189 at Amazon, it will also fit in most gaming monitor budgets.
Its DisplayHDR rating of 400 means there is enough brightness here for HDR (if barely), and FreeSync support means your gaming will be smooth and tear-free. The 180 Hz rating seems to be native, as there is no mention of overdrive or overclocking, and the 1ms response time should be responsive enough for all but the most serious of esports gamers.
If you're after a new gaming monitor on a budget and you want a screen from one of the biggest names in the business, the Samsung Odyssey G50D is well worth considering -- especially today, when it's dropped $20 below its previous all-time low price and is available for $189.
This 16:10 productivity boosting 16-inch IPS portable monitor with a kickstand is just $71!
While I love the large OLED TV that I use as a monitor at home, when I'm on the go with my 14-inch laptop, I never feel like I have enough screen real estate. And while I have an older portable monitor that I picked up several years ago, it doesn't get very bright, and I hate its folding, floppy stand.
So when I saw this large 16-inch IPS screen with a 300-nit brightness rating and a built-in kickstand selling for just $71.99 on Amazon, I ordered one for myself. You might want to consider it, too as portable monitors, especially those with a kickstand, are incredibly versatile and handy devices.
As is often the case with these budget portable monitors, I have never heard of the Veout brand, but it's hard to argue with specs like 1920 x 1200 resolution, 1200:1 contrast ratio, and 300 nits of brightness at this price. It's also available in four colors, but the pink and silver models do cost $1-$3 more.
Ports on the left edge are about what you'd expect: Two USB-C, Mini HDMI, audio jack (there are also built-in speakers) and controls for the OSD. The refresh rate is a fixed 60 Hz, so esports gamers may want to look elsewhere, and there's no mention of response time, so it may not be great for console gamers on the go either.
But considering this screen's 16:10 aspect ratio, it's better suited to productivity anyway. That's primarily what I expect to use mine for when it arrives. And I can't wait for it to arrive.
