Black Friday Golf Deals Live: Event finished but still hundreds of deals to be had!

Black friday golf deals.

Hello golfers, welcome to Golf Monthly's coverage of Black Friday! If you are a golfer then this is actually a great time to fill all the spots in your equipment setup because there are a lot of Black Friday golf deals live right now, with huge discounts on some of the latest models. Yes i know what you are thinking, the day itself has gone right? Well there are still thousands of deals out there on all aspects of golf equipment so you can still get what you want!

As a lifetime golfer myself, and someone who has covered golf shopping events for a number of years, I know a good deal when I see it, and I know when a deal seems too good to be true. As such I only ever write about products that I personally have tested, or a member of the Golf Monthly testing team has reviewed as well, that way I know I can be honest and insightful about the performance.

I have scoured the deals everywhere of late and have included some of my top picks in the US and UK below, the Bushnell Tour V6 Shift rangefinder going from roughly $400 to $300 is definitely worth mentioning for example. If you want the full list of our top picks, then check out our best Black Friday golf deals hub, or keep scrolling down on this page to read our live report to get the fastest updates on new deals spotted by myself or the rest of the gear team. Additionally, the last shopping event before Christmas, Cyber Monday, is here so we have also done a Cyber Monday golf deals live report as well.

LIVE: Latest updates

Good morning, afternoon and evening wherever you are in the world! Welcome to our coverage of Black Friday where, right now, we have spotted hundreds of offers on premium equipment from the likes of Titleist, TaylorMade and adidas!

Although the event doesn't get officially underway until tomorrow, multiple brands like Amazon, PGA TOUR Superstore and American Golf have reduced the price of their products and, right now, there are some great deals to be snapped up.

So, why not sit back, relax and let us take you through the next few days of action, where we can't wait to share with you the deals available!

For those who don't know, Black Friday is an annual event and is the term for the Friday after Thanksgiving in the United States. It usually marks the start of the Christmas shopping season in the States and, from a shopping perspective, many stores offer big sales at heavily discounted prices which results in the day being the busiest shopping day of the year.

In the US, some of the best golf retailers include PGA Tour Superstore, Rock Bottom Golf, Walmart and, of course, Amazon. In the UK, the best golf retailers include Scottsdale Golf, American Golf, Sports Direct, Click Golf and Amazon.

At Golf Monthly, we have created a Black Friday golf deals hub for you to check out, where we have collected hundreds of deals. Also, along with this live blog, our team is working hard to bring you a number of spotlight deals, such as this golf ball re-stock piece, which has 15 different golf ball models reduced!

As the year draws to a close, we have seen a number of clubs released earlier in 2024 drop in price. For example, the Cobra Darkspeed Max driver, which is one of the best drivers for slicers, has been reduced by 27% and is now under $400.

Wrapped up in a very eye-catching aesthetic, this is a seriously impressive offering from Cobra, with the ball speed numbers up there with the best golf drivers on the market.

You may think that, with golf gear being reduced this Black Friday, it'll be of poor quality. However, you couldn't be more wrong! Looking through Carl's Golfland, I've found this deal on the adidas Tour360 24 Shoe, which we rated five stars in our testing!

Arguably the best spiked golf shoe money can buy, it has a soft, premium leather upper, exceptional grip in all conditions, as well as exceptional heel and arch support. Overall, it's a near perfect shoe and, right now, $50 off for under $150.

Some incredible value to be had with this deal! Right now, you can save $240 on the Voice Caddie SL3 Rangefinder which, like the Tour 360 24, is a five star rated product.

Combining laser and GPS functionality, the main stand-outs of this laser included its very fast and accurate nature, the fact it can measure all sorts of course features and, amazingly, will even help you read greens! Check out our full review of the Voice Caddie SL3 Rangefinder, as well as the best Black Friday rangefinder deals here.

Looking for golf clubs but on a budget? Well, we've found a few eye-catching deals for you! Our staff writer, Conor Keenan, has set himself the challenge of creating a golf bag that features equipment that ticks the box for both value and performance.

You can check out the full piece here and, below, we have included a few of the deals for you to check out!

The golf ball I use in winter is now reduced this Black Friday. Right now, you can grab two boxes for $70, which shows a big saving, especially as one box is usually $42.99! Featuring a relatively low, 70-compression core, as well as a urethane cover that you see on the best premium golf balls, it provides great value for money with winter rearing its head! Check out the full deal here.

I've just been informed that Tiger Woods' Sun Day Red brand is now 25% on selected styles, with one of those being his iconic red polo shirt!

Released at the start of 2024, there are an array of polos, midlayers, pants, shoes and many, many more clothing items available on the website.

Another Tiger deal is on the launch monitor he uses, which is now a whopping $1000 off at PGA TOUR Superstore. We tested the Full Swing KIT Launch Monitor back in 2022 and were very impressed, so much so that it earned a spot on our Editor's Choice awards list for the year.

Not only is it easy to use, accurate and one of the best app experiences around, but one of the best golf launch monitors commonly seen out on the professional circuit.

We at Golf Monthly love a package set and, right now, you can grab one of the best with 20% off. The Strata Package Set features in various models, such as a 12, 14 and 16-piece, and right now there's an opportunity for a huge saving.

Along with the men's version, we also have spotted the women's version reduced, with it featuring in a 9, 12, 14 and 16-piece so, no matter the budget, there should be something for everyone!

I will be signing off soon but, before I leave you, I wanted to share with you this deal I have found on the Bag Boy T-660 Travel Cover. Back in October, I wrote about how it was an item that I recommended to a buddy of mine and now, in the Black Friday sale, I'm happy to report that it's reduced once again!

In regards to the travel cover, you get a great value option that is lightweight, compact and provides plenty of room for your clubs and necessities when tackling the chaos of an airport. If you're someone who doesn't fly with their golf clubs that often, and wants to save some money, then this is a great choice.

Well, that's my time up and, as I bid you farewell, Black Friday is, technically, underway here in the UK. Tomorrow, it'll be my colleague, Dan Parker, who will take you through all the early deals and we can't wait to show you what's available on various retailers.

As mentioned, be sure to check out our best Black Friday golf deals hub, as well as our various guides on retailers like PGA TOUR Superstore and Amazon. As I sign off, I leave you with my favorite deals, so far, and I look forward to the coming days. Happy Black Friday everyone!

Good morning all, it is officially Black Friday! Today is the day to get those bits of golf gear you need, or something you know the golfer in your life will love! Today the entire Golf Monthly team will be looking around trying to find the best deals for you. As such we will only be referencing products we have tested ourselves, and only be mentioning things we know are good deals! Happy shopping

The drivers used by men's World No.1 Scottie Scheffler, women's World No.1 Nelly Korda and one of the greatest drivers of the golf ball in the history of the game, Rory McIlroy, all have a jaw-dropping discount over on Amazon. Driver tester Joe Ferguson dubbed the TaylorMade Qi10 driver, the longest of 2024 in a video he created for the Golf Monthly YouTube channel earlier this year and it has been one of the two drivers he has been personally gaming for the duration of his season.

I am sure many are feeling a touch overwhelmed given the number of deals out there right now but don't panic, I have included some of my top tips below.

1. Do research beforehand and make a list
Put simply I always say to people, know what you want to buy before going into the shopping event or going onto a retailer. That means putting in some research on the golf equipment you want so you know prices, discounts, specs, reviews and specific models in and out. That way you can be focused on the day and not have to waste time. This will also give you knowledge on what is actually a good deal.

2. Set a budget
On Black Friday it is easy to spend too much or buy things you don't actually need so I tell people to set yourself a proper budget and stick to it. And similar to that point, do not panic buy!

3. Don't limit yourself to Amazon
Of course, there will be a lot of focus on Amazon during Black Friday and Cyber Monday but definitely don't limit yourself to just one retailer as we often notice other retailers like PGA TOUR Superstore, Walmart, Rock Bottom Golf and Scottsdale Golf doing sales of their own.

4. Price check everything
I really think this is one of the most important things to do when shopping in sales events. I recommend price checking something across several retailers to see if the price is actually good, or if you can get it lower somewhere else. This does require having several tabs open.

That being said price checking on Amazon is quite easy. I use CamelCamelCamel, a website that price-checks millions of items sold on Amazon, a lot. The website tracks price lows, so if the item you're looking at was cheaper at some other point, you'll be able to see the price difference.

5. Watch out for shady reviews
This is something to be aware of. On retailers like Amazon there are a lot of reviews that are not legitimate, and whilst Amazon has removed a lot of bogus reviews, there are so many that not all of them can be. So I recommend just keeping your eyes out for reviews that seem a bit fishy. At Golf Monthly we literally only write about products we have tested ourselves so we always make sure we have a link to our review somewhere on the page.

The Cobra Aerojet family was launched in 2023 (Image credit: Future)

Morning all - Black Friday is here! I haven't been keeping my ears to the ground for deals quite as much as I normally do, so I'm just scanning through our main Black Friday hub for the first time this morning and one deal has stood out.

Both in the UK and the US, the Cobra Aerojet driver is heavily discounted. In the UK, you can pick up the Aerojet Max for £199, which is 54% off, and in the US it's now $249 - 55% off. This is a pretty staggering deal considering the model is less than two years old. The Max model from the range is the draw bias model, and will suit golfers who are fighting a slice off the tee.

The Air Pegasus '89 is one of the best casual golf shoes on the market (Image credit: Golf Monthly)

There are loads of modern, casual golf shoes on the market now - and it can be hard to decide which pair to pick up. Adidas, New Balance, Nike and Ecco are all brands that have leaned into taking trainer-style silhouettes and turning them into golf shoes.

As a golf shoe tester, I've found these models all sort of blend into one. They're all decent golf shoes, but it comes down to your preference in style as to which is best for you. Saying that, one shoe I tested this year seemed to garner universal acclaim from my colleagues and playing partners - the Nike Air Pegasus 89 G. Having brought the likes of the Air Max 90 into the golf space a few years ago, it was interesting to see Nike pick this particular style as its next offering but, so far as I can tell, it's been incredibly popular.

The biggest discount (down to £69.99) is on the black/white colourway and there are still sizes on offer from 7 UK to 10.5 UK. If that isn't your bag, there's an olive colourway discounted (and with more sizes available) or a grey option, also discounted at Scottsdale Golf. Being so versatile, you're effectively getting two pairs of shoes here. One pair for golf (in the summer only, in my opinion) and a pair of shoes for off the course too.

Are you or someone you know looking to get into golf? Black Friday is one of the best times of year to make that initial, big purchase of a set of golf clubs. One of the easiest ways to get yourself started is by investing in one of the best golf package sets. These sets give you everything you need to get straight out onto the golf course, including a bag.

I'll list some of the best package set offers below, ranging in price. If you're unsure which is best for you, I'd go somewhere down the middle in terms of price. The cheap sets will do you a job, but not last quite as long as the more expensive sets. Meanwhile, any set north of £1000 is a little too much in my opinion - you can likely put together a second-hand set for that much or less. So those sets between £300-£800 is the sweet spot for me. Here are some of the best I've spotted so far this Black Friday...

I've just spotted my own wedges on sale! Not my actual wedges though of course, but the same model I use - the Ping Glide Forged Pro. This is probably one of the best wedges for low-handicap golfers, all thanks to its clean looks, compact profile and the amount of control it gives you around the greens. Now under £100, this is a superb deal if you're looking to update your wedge set up. There's plenty of bounce and loft options available too...

I mentioned an hour or so ago that package sets are one of the best purchases you can make on Black Friday, but a dozen or so of the best golf balls are probably the next most financially astute purchase. You obviously can't play golf without golf balls, so you're going to have to buy a dozen at some point, so why not take advantage of these sales? I've listed some of my favourites below, including the 2023 Titleist ProV1x, which is at one of its lowest prices ever ahead of the 2025 model launching next year.

Time for a shameless plug. Golf Monthly's new equipment podcast - Kick Point: The Golf Gear Show - has just launched a brand new YouTube channel and you can watch the latest episode down below. In the episode, Joe Ferguson puts the new Titleist GT up against the old TSR range and the results are closer than you might think. Though the GT has helped gobble up drops in ball speed from mishits, the distance between the two models was very similar.

If you want to benefit from fairly modern technology, and a driver that can go punch for punch with its modern counterpart, then the TSR3 is on offer now at over 1/3 off.

Mizuno has been known for producing some of the best irons on the market for some time now and if you're a traditionalist who likes bladed irons, then you'll be hard pushed to find a better looking set than the Mizuno Pro 221 irons .

I've always been a sucker for a set of irons that allow complete workability when on the course and feel like butter when struck out the middle of the blade. They're definitely not the most forgiving irons but if you're a low handicapper looking for a new set, you'll struggle to find a better set on sale this Black Friday.

If you're like me and you like tinkering with putters, what better time to do so than this Black Friday when you can purchase a new one at a cheaper price. Below are some of the best deals on putters I have seen so far but I'll make sure to keep you posted on if I see any more.

The TaylorMade Spider GT Max putter offers extreme levels of customization through two adjustable tracks on the sole of the wings. This is a quick way to fix any consistent misses you see when putting without having to change your putting stroke.

The Cleveland HB Soft Milled is a face balanced putter offering a firmer feel through impact, whereas the Odyssey Eleven S putter boasts high MOI and a White Hot insert for an unrivaled soft feel

Using a launch monitor is a great way of improving your practice and making it more enjoyable at the same time. By using quantifiable data, you're able to practice with purpose and you're far more likely to see the benefits of your practice when you next step back onto the golf course.

Launch monitors are a great way of understanding how far you hit each of your clubs, especially in different conditions. You can set yourself targets such as landing shots in a designated zone and challenging your friends to do so. This keeps your practice fresh and stops you from aimlessly beating balls at the range.

The Titleist Pro V1 is one of the most played balls in professional golf and is rarely on offer. The fact you can now purchase two dozen of these balls for under $100 is a rarity and is a deal that you should definitely take advantage of if you're in the need to stock up on some premium golf balls.

The Pro V1 is lower spinning and launching compared to the Pro V1x and is ideal for high speed players who like a soft feel around the greens.

Package sets are one of the best ways to get up to speed when introduced to the game or if you are looking to update your sticks. There are a lot of clubs out there and deciding which ones are going to suit your game the best can often be a daunting task. Package sets eliminate the need to scroll through the internet trying to build a bag and are an easy solution to provide you with the majority of equipment you need to get out and enjoy the game.

Different brands offer different amount of clubs included in their packages so keep an eye on this when choosing one and pick one that suits your needs. In the past, the bags that came with package sets often let the package down as a whole but that is rarely the case any more. The options below come with some really solid and sturdy bags with a mixture of cart and stand bags available.

Understanding how far you have to the pin or to different hazards on the golf course is an easy way to improve your scoring on the course. Whether it be attacking a pin hidden over a bunker or simply laying up short of a water hazard. Knowing how much room you have to work with when hitting these shots will help you avoid easy course management errors.

While 'eye-balling' a distance may work every now and again, you'll see far more success knowing precise yardages. The Bushnell Tour V6 Shift is one of the best rangefinders we have tested recently and you can now purchase it at 18% off! I can't imagine this deal will last past Black Friday, so make sure you act fast to take advantage of it.

This one comes from the heart.

I swapped to a mallet putter for the first time in my life earlier this year, switching from the Scotty Cameron Circa 62 to the Scotty Cameron Phantom 11 - it's the best decision I've made in a long time.

Switched to this putter has helped me with short putts in particular. Even when I don't put a perfect stroke on those knee-knocker 6ft putts, this putter feels like I can get away with those poorer strokes and still find the bottom of the cup. I can't recommend it enough.

A launch monitor can help take your game to the next level. They can turn your range sessions into really valuable practice time with an extra analysis on how you swing the club and hit the ball.

Unfortunately, a lot of the best golf launch monitors are rather expensive but the number of cheap golf monitors has increased a lot in recent years. One we've loved using is the Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor. It's got a tasty discount over on Amazon.

There are plenty of shoes on offer this Black Friday, but if you want a cracking pair of shoes without breaking the bank, we've found a bunch of options from Footjoy, Adidas and Nike for under $100.

I've worn the Codechaos shoes for a while and can't recommend them enough, they're one of the comfiest shoes on the market and are now discounted by over 50%.

We've also created a shoe-specific guide for Black Friday, check it out if fancy some new footwear - best Black Friday golf shoe deals.

This isn't specifically golf related, but plenty of golf will be broadcast on ESPN+ in the coming year. Not only golf, but football, baseball, soccer, basketball and more.

This deal is for the sports nerd in your life, whether thats yourself, a parent, a sibling, a partner or simply a good friend.

Our women's editor Alison Root has had a look for the best deals in women's golf fashion, and her search has been successful. So successful in fact, that's she has written a piece about it - My 6 Favorite Women’s Apparel Deals.

We've added a few from her piece below, but be sure to check it out in addition to her authors profile for more women's golf clothing and club reviews.

Golf is expensive - which is why we need to make the most of periods like Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

If you saw our post about shoes under $100, we can go one better and offer you some of our favorite items under $50! From golf balls to training aids, polos to trousers, we have you covered. Check out Sam De'Ath's piece for even more cheap golf options.

We've tested some of the best golf watches in 2024 and were pleased to see that some of our favorites are included in the Black Friday sale over at Garmin.

You can find even more watch deals ahead of Christmas in our best Black Friday golf watches guide, but for now here are some of the best from the mega sale on over at Garmin.

Buying golf shoes can be a tough task for people, like myself, with flat feet..

Another member of the Golf Monthly team with flat feet is our very own Dan Parker. He tried the Adidas Tour 360 shoes earlier in the year and continues to wear them to this day, sighting no pain in comparison to other models from different brands.

It's fitting then (pardon the pun), that they are on sale this Black Friday

We challenged our writer Conor Keenan to make a golf bag setup from scratch this Black Friday. It sounds harder than you think, because given how many deals out there, Conor had plenty of options to choose from.

We'll add three choices from his list to this post, but if you'd like to read his full golfing loadout made up of solely sale items this Black Friday, be sure to check out his piece - The Best Golf Bag For Those On A Budget

As mentioned earlier, I've changed recently to a mallet putter and it has taken my putting game to a new level.

As a result, I want to share the love and show you a few mallet putters on offer this Black Friday, with the hope being it can transform your abilities on the greens as much as it did for me.

The putter is the most used club in our golf bag every round, without fail. Therefore, it's worth investing in a really good one! Here are some of our favourites...

Here are a few of our favorite products that we've reviewed in the past few months.

We test hundreds of products a year, with around 10 earning the elusive five star rating. Conor Keenan has documented nine five star Golf Monthly-rated products that are on the sale racks this Black Friday - here is a quick preview of a few of them.

Looking some new irons? Here are the ones I use and they have $200 off!

Dave Usher here taking over from Conor. First off let me begin by wishing everyone across the pond a belated Happy Thanksgiving, especially my fellow Chicago Bears fans who once again suffered from our team’s astonishing ability to find new and more heartbreaking ways to lose each week. Really Eberflus? Really? No wonder he just got fired.

Anyway, there are loads of great deals knocking around and I’ll get through as many as I can in this three hour shift. When possible I prefer to focus on things I’ve actually used myself and can recommend based on personal experience. So first off then, here’s a deal on the irons I am currently using.

The Cobra Darkspeed are distance irons but they don’t really look like it, as they have a thinner top line than you usually get on this type of iron. I think they’re one of the best looking irons on the market thanks to the slim look and dark finish. They’re available now for considerably less than I paid for them earlier this year.

This morning I was reading an excellent feature written by my colleague Sam De’Ath on the benefits of putting mats and whether they help improve your performance on the greens. I have one at home that I really should use more often, especially now it’s too cold to practice outside.

The one I have is the excellent Perfect Practice Putting Mat but the success of that product has spawned several copies of it, most of which come in at a considerably lesser price. There’s probably a trade off there in terms of the quality of the mat itself, but if you are on a budget and are in the market for a mat to practice at home with, here are a few deals that I’ve spotted, as well as the original model.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking about buying a putter to go with the new mat you just bought after reading my last update, right?

No problem, here are some of the best deals we’ve seen on the ol' flatsticks.

Looking for a cheap rangefinder that does the job quickly and accurately with no faffing around? Look no further. I’ve had the Shot Scope Pro L1 in my bag for a few years but recently I got to try the Pro L2. It’s certainly an upgrade in terms of how quickly it locks onto target and it’s excellent value for money.

It is very lightweight though so if you don’t have the steadiest of hands it might not be ideal, so keep that in mind.

I wrote a feature yesterday on how important it is to me to have my GPS watch with me when I play golf these days and that, embarrassing as it is to admit, I’ve become utterly dependent on it now. My Garmin Approach S62 is my best friend on the golf course and without it I feel lost.

It isn’t even about needing accurate yardages to the pin either, there are other features I’ve come to depend on and when I don’t have them it completely throws me off my game. So if you’re looking to upgrade your GPS watch or even buy your first one, I can’t recommend the S62 highly enough. I love it, it’s great and the only watch I’ve tried that is better is the Garmin Approach S70, which effectively replaced it as the flagship watch in the Approach range.

The arrival of the S70 is good news for golfers though because it means you can get the S62 even cheaper now.

FORE RIGHT!!! (Image credit: Future)

CAN I INTEREST YOU IN DRIVERS FOR SLICERS?

Black Friday has often been a little disappointing to me when it comes to deals on drivers, but there are some good ones this year, especially on 2024 models from TaylorMade and Callaway in particular.

There are some especially nice deals on drivers that can help out slicers of the ball. Draw biased drivers have been a game changer since they were first introduced. They don’t get rid of a slice but they can certainly help to reduce it. Even if the difference is only, say, eight yards, think about what a help that can be. Eight yards can be the difference between finding the rough or the water hazard, or even the fairway rather than rough.

Definitely worth considering if you are prone to the dreaded right miss, like my good pal Joe who you can see in the above photo looking anxiously to the right as another drive sails off the planet. Keep your chin up mate, you'll get there in the end. If you need a lesson, you know where I am.

TaylorMade made great golf balls and we’ve seen some good deals on them so far. If you’re looking for premium, tour quality balls then look no further than the TP5 and TP5x range, used by the likes of Rory McIlory, Collin Morikawa, Rickie Fowler and Tommy Fleetwood.

Personally I love the Tour Response ball as it’s considerably cheaper but still delivers a great performance and suits my game better (sadly I’m not on the level of the aforementioned pros!). The stripe version in particular is great for working on the roll of your putts, but it might not suit the eye of everyone.

Anyway, check out these deals on TaylorMade balls.

This is probably the ideal time of year to upgrade your bag as there are always good deals to be had. Often retailers will be looking to clear out their existing stock to make room for next year’s new offerings, and bags take up a lot of space so it makes sense to try and offload them. Therefore deals on bags tend to be pretty sweet and here are some crackers on stand and cart bags. My choice would be the Sun Mountain C-130, I love that bag.

Looking for some new golf shoes? What if I told you that you could get the same shoes that Bryson wears and that you would pay less than a hundred bucks for them? You’d tell me, “get outta here, no way!”. Sounds too good to be true, I know. But here they are, the Footjoy Hyperflex Carbon shoes worn by the reigning US Open champ and YouTube content king himself.

Final one from me for tonight before I sign off. Carl’s Golf Land are offering 20% off all G/Fore apparel. G/Fore is one of my favorite brands when it comes to golf clothing and I have a polo, trousers, shoes, gilet, hoodie as well as a zip up jacket that I wear all the time, on the course or off it. In fact there I am wearing it in the picture above. Nice isn't it?

There’s some lovely stuff on offer at the moment, so check it out here.

Just because a product falls out of the brand’s current line it doesn’t mean it’s no longer a high performer. And it also might mean you can pick it up at a greatly reduced price. Ping’s G425 Max driver is a case in point.

While the G430 family now rules the roost, the G425 Max remains one of the best in the business. If, like me, you look for plenty of forgiveness from the longest club in your bag, then the G425 Max won’t disappoint. You can change the weighting to promote a draw or fade depending on your current ball flight, while the forged face equates to plenty of distance too.

But don’t just take my word for it. Joe Ferguson, who knows a thing or two about driving the ball well and which clubs will help you off the tee, still rates the G425 Max as among the best he’s tested - especially if your swing speed is moderate and you’re looking for more height and distance.

With more than 200 dollars off it’s the ideal time to upgrade your driver.

Like our own Dan Parker, I’m a big fan of the PuttOUT Pressure Putt Trainer. I’ve used it for over a year now alongside the brand’s putting mat and mirror and combined they’ve definitely helped with my set-up and alignment and, importantly, with my pace control.

If you’re not familiar with the Pressure Trainer the putting aid uses a ramp that returns the ball to you the same distance it would have gone past the hole had you missed. It also features a small target ‘hole’ that retains the ball should you hit the ‘perfect putt’ - take it from it me, trying to hit this mark consistently is really addictive.

As for the mat and the mirror they are great aids to help you with ball position and alignment - while the mirror has been especially helpful for me as I typically used to line up with my eyes too far inside the ball, the fact that you see them being used by the world’s best, such as Cam Smith, tells you just how useful they can be.

As a current resident of Chicago I felt compelled to find a great deal from Wilson - the famed club manufacturer still has its headquarters in the Windy City. However I didn’t expect to be highlighting one of its putters - the iconic brand is probably better known for its drivers, fairway woods and irons. But I couldn’t resist this deal on its Infinite Buckingham putter.

The Infinite range has been getting strong reviews for several years now and the Buckingham could be just the putter for you if you’re planning a switch from a blade to mallet - at under $100 it offers the opportunity to experiment with a putter that should be more stable through impact without having to break the bank to do so.

We reviewed the Buckingham a while back and were left suitably impressed with its ability to promote a smooth stroke while at the same time delivering a really nice feel off the face.

I’ll be the first to admit that choosing a club just because your favorite touring pro uses it isn’t always the smartest move. Many moons ago I bought a set of Lynx Parallax irons just because Freddie Couples, my idol at the time, had them in the bag. Clearly my skill level and his were worlds apart and I ended up trading them in for something far more forgiving!

But when the world’s best two players in the men’s and women’s game are both using the same driver then it’s hard not to take note - take over 100 dollars of the retail price and I should really have your attention.

Both Scottie Scheffler and Nelly Korda use TaylorMade’s Qi10 driver to stunning effect - as does Golf Monthly’s Joe Ferguson who loves the club for its balance of playability and forgiveness. And if you need more of the latter the Qi10 Max, used by Korda, is also heavily discounted.

When it comes to shopping for higher price items like a rangefinder, it makes sense to take advice from those in the know. Such as our own Conor Keenan. Not only is he a low single-digit player himself he’s also been a regular caddie at one of the world’s greatest links courses, Royal County Down, for ten years. It’s safe to say he’s well-versed on what works when it comes to accurately measuring distances out on the course.

One of Conor’s favourite finders, the Bushnell Pro X3+, is currently on offer with $100 offer the retail price. It’s still a pretty pricey item but if you're looking for one of the very best rangefinders in the game, then there's never been a better time to take the plunge.

Before starting my shift on the blog this afternoon I had tasked myself with finding a deal for the best golf shoes for under $100.

After plenty of searching I’d seen lots of shoes for well under 100 bucks but none that really caught my eye. It’s worth saying I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to golfing attire - far more aligned to the style of ‘Cashmere’ Keith Mitchell than the hoodie and joggers that many top pros now wear. So rather than opt for the lower priced shoes I’ve gone for a pair that slip under the mark by a single cent but really look the business - the Traditions model from Footjoy.

The beauty of Traditions shoe is that it has the classic good looks of old but also incorporates plenty of modern tech to make it really comfortable. If you’re after a clean pair of spikes the $50 off retail should seal the deal.

Another putter deal. But with good reason. Not only are the L.A.B range of putters currently available with a 20% discount for Black Friday, they are also one of the most intriguing flatstick options on the market.

I’ve been toying with switching from a blade to mallet for a while now, and have dipped my toe, but I was fascinated by Joe Ferguson’s recent analysis of the Lie Angle Balanced wands on the Kick Point podcast. To keep it simple the putters are lie angle balance rather than the traditional toe-hang or face-balanced models that have dominated the market for decades. The idea is that the putter will stay square throughout the stroke and they've gained traction with lots of tour pros from Phil Mickelson to Adam Scott.

If you need more consistency on the greens then this could be the place to start...

Good morning all! Yes the Black Friday, the day itself, may have been and gone but as I am about to show you over the next few hours, there are still hundreds of outstanding golf deals out there because retailers and brands extend their Black Friday sales into the weekend and sometimes further. I am Sam Tremlett, E-commerce Editor for Golf Monthly by the way, and I know a good deal when I see it!

There are loads of sales on right now. In fact, our main page covering the best Black Friday golf shoe deals is showcasing over 20 pairs in total. Last night shoe testing expert Dan created a post on his favorite 5 models including ones from top brands like adidas, Nike, Ecco, Puma and FootJoy, so I've included those below as they appear to still be on sale

Yes, Black Friday may be technically over but there are so many deals still live it may as well still be Friday. I'll be looking at some of my favourites for the next few hours, and I'll start with this one from Me And My Golf. This unique putting mat comes with three weighted golf balls that mimic different amounts of break on the putt. If you're looking for a putting mat that offers something a little different, this is one of the best and this discounted price is normally only available during this sales period.

We perhaps neglected to focus on much apparel during yesterday's coverage, so I've been snooping around to see if any of the best golf apparel brands are running a sale.

Firstly, Zero Restriction. A slightly niche brand, we tested its apparel for the first time this Autumn and were suitably impressed with the quality and functionality of its range. Some more fashion-led brands, like Sounder and Malbon, are running impressive sales, too. Malbon, in particular, is currently running an up to 60% sale on some of its archived styles and collaborations. I've always wanted some Malbon apparel, so I might pinch a T-shirt for myself now that it's come down to a much more stomach-able price. Check out my favourite three pieces below...

My favourite waterproof stand bag of 2024 has gone on sale this Black Friday weekend. The original RRP is admittedly a touch steep, so I was hoping to see it reduced. Sun Mountain seam seals every area of this bag to prevent water leaking, and the quality of the fabric used is next to none in this space. If you play all year around and are after a reliable, premium waterproof bag that will last and last, here's your chance.

It's become something of a running joke in the Golf Monthly, but Joe Ferguson's coverage of Scottie Scheffler's grip trainer has become an obsession over the last 12 months. You won't find a Scheffler practice session where he isn't using one of these - he's fastidious. He's attached one to a 7-iron, allowing him to hit balls with it on the range all while drilling in the muscle memory of his correct grip position. If you only purchase one thing this Black Friday weekend, this could be one of the most effective at helping you play better golf.

I'm surprised to see these haven't sold out yet. The Cobra Aerojet Max driver is still under two years old and it's now available - brand new - from Clubhouse Golf for £199. This is the draw-biased, ultra-forgiving model in the Aerojet range, with extra weighting in the heel to help golfers who fight a slice straighten out their ball flight. Being a Cobra driver, it has plenty of ball speed too and doesn't just rely on forgiveness to be a good driver. If you're looking to upgrade more at the top end of your bag, why not consider gunning for the Aerojet fairway wood too, which can now be picked up for £169

Black Friday weekend isn't for everyone - you might already have everything you could need for golf. But let me share something I know you need, no matter how well stocked up you think you are, golf balls. If you're a Titleist fan, now in the time to jump on a dozen or so golf balls to cover you for the winter. The 2023 ProV1 is now just over £40 and dozen while the 2023 Pro V1x is £42.99 a dozen - grab them before they return to full price.

A popular Black Friday purchase for golfers is often a new rangefinder. We've spotted one of our favourite 'cheaper' rangefinders on offer to make it at even more appealing offer. This Inesis model may look a little rudimentary, but it has pretty much all the features you'd need from a rangefinder. It has slope functionality, which can be turned on and off, while the clear display will quickly and accurately show yardages. If you don't have one already, this is a great product to enter the space with, and could make a great gift for the golfer in your life.

The Full Swing KIT Launch Monitor as used by Tiger Woods, Jon Rahm and Dustin Johnson is now a thousand dollars off - yes you heard that right! At 20% off, this is an absolute steal and one of equipment testers Joe Ferguson often uses this when testing new clubs to get accurate and reliable data.

One of the big selling points about this launch monitor is the fact that like the Foresight GCQuad launch monitor, there is a screen on the monitor itself that shows you the data from each shot instantly. There's no need to sync it up to your phone or tablet and you can easily change which metrics are shown on the screen.

We're expecting to see the price of this jump straight back up after this weekend, so if you've been wanting to level up your practice or home golf setup then you're going to want to move fast.

Adidas has always been known for producing some of the best and most iconic golf shoes on the market and the Tour 360 franchise is arguably the most recognizable. These are seriously comfortable thanks to the premium leather upper and they offer superb arch support.

Our resident footwear tester Dan Parker swears by the boost technology and claims these are some of the most comfortable spiked golf shoes he has worn over the past year.

There is a huge saving of 39% to be had on the Tour 360 shoes saving just shy of $80!

The ball used by Rory McIlroy over the past year to pick up 4 wins is now of offer! While the deal itself is only a 9% saving, premium golf balls are rarely on offer and so if you're looking to stock up over the winter months, this is a great opportunity.

When this ball launched and was first put in play by the Northern Irishman, he referenced the fact that he was hitting his irons about half a club longer with this TP5x model.

These are the perfect gift for any of your friends or family that play golf this holiday season and are now available at just under $50.

Keeping on the with the TaylorMade theme, the Qi10 driver as used by the number one player in the world - Scottie Scheffler, is on sale this Black Friday, saving $100.

The Qi10 driver was one of the best that we tested this year and is the 3rd generation of TaylorMade's 60 layer carbon face. Rory McIlroy and women's world number one Nelly Korda also gamed the Qi10 during the 2024 season and amassed 11 Tour victories between them.

The Qi10 core model offers all round forgiveness and distance in a fairly rounded head, so if you're looking to upgrade your driver this off-season, the TaylorMade Qi10 is certainly worth considering.

As a free agent (not signed to an equipment manufacturer) Bryson Dechambeau can literally use any golf gear he chooses and given how particular we know he can be - he's only going to use something if he feels it's without doubt the best option.

During his recent US Open win at Pinehurst No.2, Dechambeau wore the FootJoy Hyperflex golf shoes to help pick up his second major championship. These shoes offer a 'locked in' feel thanks to the sock-like entry and the large amount of foam and cushioning under foot provide ultimate comfort when walking on the course.

At 47% off, these shoes are an absolute steal and are a great option for anyone wanting a top-of-the-line shoe at a seriously reduced rate.

The EyeLine Golf Roll The Rock Putting mat is one of the best value for money putting mats on the market and it's now on sale! This mat is small and can be easily stored and carried in the drawstring bag it comes with.

One of our equipment writers Sam De'Ath has a written a piece about some of the best putting mats that are on offer this Black Friday Weekend. So if you're considering purchasing one to help improve your performance on the greens next season, you're going to want to check that out.

One of our best find of the week is over on Amazon, with one of the best cheap launch monitors at it's lowest ever price.

Fancy a launch monitor that easily folds into your golf bag that you can take anywhere effortlessly? This could be the one for you.

So we've showed you a cheap launch monitor - how about a cheap rangefinder?

The Inesis Golf 900 is a fantastic option if you're after a rangefinder but have a relatively strict budget - it's the Christmas season after all...

One of the best drivers in golf is on offer from our friends at Taylormade this Black Friday week.

The Qi10 is used by some of the best players in the world, including Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and Nelly Korda. You can join that elusive crew, maybe not in terms of golfing ability, more so in putting the same driver in the bag as those guys. We'd recommend it.

Tiger Woods Sun Day Red brand is another spot where the sale stickers are being slapped on items across the store.

Our own Sam De'Ath has picked out some of his favorites below.

Looking to stock up on golf balls ahead of the 2025 season?

Now is the best time to do so given how many are on discount. I've picked out a few more budget-friendly options for the mid-to-higher handicappers who are prone to losing a few during a round. No shame in that, there's nobody reading this blog who won't lose at least a dozen balls next year so stock up!

If you'd like some more premium golf balls, we've found some of those on offer too.

It's not common that some of the best golf balls are on offer, so when they are we'd recommend strongly that you stock up. If that means buying four boxes, then so be it - you'll be thanking yourself come the summer time.

In the Golf Monthly HQ, we've been asking each other what few items we've been tracking to see if they go on sale. This is solely so we can buy and enjoy them ourselves.

Dan Parker is big trolley guy and has eyed up this one trolley for quite some time. His eureka moment happened this afternoon when he *finally* found it on sale. He was so excited he wrote a piece about it - I've Been Waiting For This Golf Cart To Go On Offer And I Am Jumping At It

If you're far down this post, you clearly love your gear. Nice one, so do we.

As a result, we think you'd like our latest podcast - Kick Point.

In the podcast's first episode on YouTube, PGA Pro Joe Ferguson puts the new Titleist GT driver up against the old TSR range and also dives in to Sir Nick Faldo's 1996 Masters winning equipment.

My colleague Matt Cradock just highlighted that his model of choice during the winter months is still on offer, the TaylorMade Tour Response. In his post on the deal, Matt said;

'Now, usually I use a Titleist Pro V1 which, as we know, is one of, if not, the best golf ball on the market. However, when winter happens, I put them away and get out the TaylorMade Tour Response, a model that has a three-piece construction and a urethane cover, like we see in the TaylorMade TP5 and TP5x.

As we know, in winter the golf ball doesn't go as far but, thanks to a relatively low, 70-compression core in the Tour Response, there is a significant increase in ball speed, especially around the irons, something that we see in the best distance golf balls.'

Another colleague of mine, and fellow Liverpool fan Dave Usher did a post earlier today on putters in which he referenced that despite getting a custom fitted putter with Ping, he was actually going to go for the Anser putter below which has a modest discount of $30. I mean I have to admit it is a beautiful blade putter indeed, but if blades aren't for you, he has included some other deals as well on mallets from Cobra, TaylorMade and Odyssey.

For those of you wanting to watch more golf in 2025, then have we found the deal for you. ESPN+ is currently offering a Black Friday streaming deal of a 12-month subscription for the price of 9. This offer saves $20 on a year's ESPN+ subscription but it will expire at midnight on Cyber Monday (December 2nd). We reckon it's worth taking advantage of right now so you're set up for a full season of golf coverage over the coming year.

Now I am sure all of you know how good Scottie Scheffler is but there is a lot of competing discussion as to why right? Well our very own PGA Pro Joe Ferguson thinks the grip could be a crucial factor, and more specifically, a particular process Scheffler implements every session.

If you ever get the chance to look in Scheffler’s golf bag during any range session, be it warm-up or practice, you will without fail see two 7 irons in his bag, and attached to one of those 7-irons will be a molded rubber training grip that he begins EVERY session with. He simply refuses to undertake a single practice session or warm-up without using it. Why? Well it is an easy way for him to create consistency with the one area of contact with the club. This clearly is important to him, and given his success, I think it should be important to everyone, and given you can get one of these grips for $10, it seems a no brainer right?!

The G425 Max, to our driver tester Joe Ferguson, is one of the most forgiving and playable drivers Ping has ever constructed, and buyers will be getting a driver packed with technology and features. It looks great whilst the combination of the technology within the head and the slightly louder, higher-pitched impact sound makes this feel like you can get the ball up and away without having to swing the club too hard.

I just checked this, but it appears the drivers used by the two best players in the world in the men's and women's games are still on offer. The standard Qi10 driver from TaylorMade is used by Scottie Scheffler and the Max version is used by Nelly Korda at the moment as well. Both drivers currently have $100 and $120 off which is outstanding given they only came out earlier this year.

The Garmin Approach S62 Watch is undoubtedly one for the gadget lover who wants the very latest features and the ability to track shots all in one place and use it off the course too. Given the complete performance, you could be forgiven for thinking that it comes with a premium price tag, and usually you would be correct, but actually you can get it with $100 off at the moment.

Right I know I have thrown a lot of deals at you throughout today but I think its best to get you some easy sales links, to allow you to get right to the retailers and brands you want. I have personally used the deals on adidas and Nike a few times over the last couple of days.

Signing off now, we have produced a lot of deals content over the last couple of days so if you are still in the hunt for deals, then please take a look at some of our pieces below as well.
