Savvy shoppers are expected to spend millions during Black Friday sales this weekend with some stores discounting must-have products by up to 70%.
Shops across the country say it is now one of the busiest times in retail with a survey from Currys revealing 91% of punters will get the bulk of their Christmas shopping done during the period.
The same survey found 64% planned on making their purchases in store compared with 36% opting to making buys online.
