Chhattisgarh Congress president Deepak Baij has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of playing "communal and divisive" politics in a bid to come to power in the state after the assembly polls due later this year.
The ruling Congress in the state has been keeping a close watch on all regional parties and small groups, seeking to contest the assembly polls in their areas of influence, particularly in tribal-dominated pockets, Mr. Baij told PTI.
The Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) does not have any electoral prospects in Chhattisgarh, he claimed.
