An organisational meeting of the BJP covering Mysuru city and the districts of Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan and Chamarajanagar will be held in Mysuru on April 12 and 13.
BJP’s State president Nalin Kumar Kateel, and senior leaders including K.S. Eshwarappa, Jagadish Shettar, S T Somashekar and V. Somanna will participate in the two-day conclave featuring district-level meetings.
BJP spokesperson M.A. Mohan said the meetings will be attended by the party’s office-bearers, MLAs and former MLAs. After the district-level meetings, scheduled to be held at Hotel Lalitha Mahal Palace, a party workers’ meeting will be held at Dasara Exhibition Grounds on April 13 afternoon.
The organisational meeting will discuss the party’s functioning district-wise. The meeting assumes significance in the light of the approaching elections to the State Assembly.
