New Delhi: Ex-Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) supremo Arvind Kejriwal on Monday accused the BJP-led Centre government of failing to ensure the safety of women and maintain the law and order in the national capital.
Addressing a 'Mahila Adalat' event at Thyagaraj Stadium, Kejriwal alleged that the BJP does not give priority to the women's safety.

"Ten years back, you gave me the responsibility to improve schools, hospitals, and water supply in Delhi, and I have done my work. But you gave the responsibility of security of the capital to BJP and they have failed to perorm their duty," Kejriwal told the gathering.

He said he does not work for votes and done everything to ensure the safety of women.
'We installed CCTV'
Before we came to power, there were no CCTV cameras in the city. We installed CCTV cameras and appointed bus marshals to ensure people's safety, Kejriwal further said.
The event was also attended by Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav. He offered his support to AAP while addressing the 'Mahila Adalat' event.
