Panaji, Congress's Tamil Nadu in-charge Girish Chodankar on Sunday claimed the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was facing a "wall of self-respect" in the southern state.

His remarks came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the Congress "stabbed" the DMK in its back. He was referring to the Congress extending support to actor-politician Vijay-led TVK to form a government in Tamil Nadu after walking out of the DMK-led alliance.
