NEW DELHI: While the main opposition Congress party is gearing up for its presidential election, its main rival BJP has termed the exercise fake and sham.

On Friday, Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot announced that he would file his nomination for the Congress president’s post. He also confirmed that no member of the Nehru-Gandhi family will contest the election.
