James Cordon may not be the first name that springs to mind when you think about the Kardashians, but he's had a big role to play in their new series.
The Kardashians hits Hulu on April 14 and is being produced by Fulwell 73 - which James co-owns.
The Gavin and Stacey star's Late Late Show in the US has been a huge success, and the famous clan have enlisted James' team for their eagerly-awaited series.
Fans were bereft when Keeping Up with the Kardashians aired its final scenes last year, but now the gang are back with what's sure to be an action packed-series.
It was reported that it was Kim Kardashian, 41, who asked Fulwell to produce the new show, after being impressed by the work they did on the Friends reunion special in May and the mega successful Carpool Karaoke.
“She saw how everything James touches seems to turn to gold and knew they needed people with fresh ideas on board, so she reached out, a source told The Sun.
“Since KUWTK ended, the whole Kardashian family has felt the pressure to do something bigger and better, so there’s a lot riding on the new series. They’re confident they are in safe hands.”
The Kardashians' executive producer Ben Winston said retaining what made the original show so successful was paramount.
“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it,” he said.
“It feels different, but yet, ultimately builds on the great show that they did," reports Variety.
With Kylie's new baby, Kourtney's upcoming nuptials and the Kim and Kanye showdown, the women are busier than ever.
To make it easier to shoot the famous family, the cast have apparently filmed more individual scenes in the news series, whereas Keeping Up often had everyone together.
Apart from a tantalising trailer, The Kardashians has largely been kept under wraps.
However someone who won't be making an appearance in the series, at least initially is Kim's beau Pete Davidson.
The mum-of-four said: "“I have not filmed with him, but [viewers will see] “how we met and who reached out to who and how it happened and all the details that everyone wants to know.”
She continued: “I’m definitely open to talking, and I definitely explain it.”
Of the show, momager Kris Jenner gushed: "I'm dying to know what you think. My goal was that it was familiar and felt like home, like, ‘Oh, my God, they’re back.’"
