Business-minded people are invited to cheer on Thailand's future entrepreneurs in the final round of "SCG Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin Thailand Competition 2023", which will take place at Sasin Hall, 9th floor of Sasin School of Management on Saturday from 1.30-9pm.
Held in collaboration with SCG Chemicals, the challenge is Asia's longest-running student start-up competition. Every event ignites passion and the entrepreneurial spirit in undergraduate and postgraduate students and especially in regard to sustainability.
The competition will pit early-stage student-led start-ups against one another, each of which will promote a future-ready company that applies innovative thinking to address social problems and global environmental issues.
In addition to demands of its 60-second pitch round, the event also allows participants to broaden their horizons through a range of activities such as workshops on business-plan refinement and on-stage pitching, as well as at an entrepreneurship forum.
This year, 63 teams from 15 academic institutions from across the country will compete for a spot in the semi-final round with eye on making the final round. Both rounds will take place on Saturday.
All teams will showcase their creative ventures and compete to become future-generation entrepreneurs capable of taking their businesses and our local ecosystem to the next level.
The winning team will receive 100,000 baht in cash and represent the country in the global competition round in June. They will also be put in the green lane for the top 150 teams to go into the Lee Kuan Yew Global Business Plan Competition, held by Sasin's community partner, Singapore Management University's Institute of Innovation & Entrepreneurship.
Those wishing to show their support for these aspiring student entrepreneurs in the final round of the competition are required to register at bit.ly/joinbbcth2023 by today. Sasin School of Management is located at Sasa Pathasala Building, Chula Soi 12, Phaya Thai Road.
